Until we die we must battle the temptations of the old nature. We are children of god by rebirth, but God has not removed the old man. Daily and at times even minute by minute we must choose to walk in the spirit and not in teh flesh. Christians are truly the only people on earth who can literally claim to be schizophrenic for we have two natrues warring within us.
amen, its called being sanctified.

we are not a finished product.

But God has saved us in spite of this..

1 Corinthians 6:11
And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

Our salvation is completed. It was completed by God. it can not be earned.

Which Lord? The Lord people create in their minds or the Lord of the Bible?
oh the sheep already know the simple answer to that question .
But allow me to sum it up with these next words .
IF anyones god and jesus IS contradicting the WORDS of Christ , thus of GOD himself ,
WELL THEY DONE created another god antoher jesus and that one serves another god .
HE who by PRIDE FELL . That god be satan and highly clever that one is .
but The sheep do not heed that voice , FOR JESUS has the sheep and its HE they do follow and trust in HIS teachings .

I see the opposite. I see you getting mad and defensive but claiming you aren’t and didn’t. I also saw that in my unreligious family. One member could get so angry that their face turned red in places and they would be yelling and shaking and yet they would say I was angry, either in the heat of it or sometime later. In fact, I saw it so much that I was always in confusion so I learned to go strictly by physiology because while others could lie about what was going on in them and I could lie to myself about what was going on in me, physiology never tried to fool me. I still use that tool even today. If someone tells me to calm down or asks me why I’m angry, I immediately check if I felt even an instant of blush hit my face, whether my heart rate increased, whether I’m shaky. If none of those things are happening I know they are trying to use me as a scapegoat to put their sin on and are trying to convince me (and others) that it’s mine to bear.
The people I lived among would also sometimes tell me to calm down when I was very calm. It’s what happens when you tell the truth to someone and they do not like or want to hear it because they are trying to protect the reputation of their mask - they say either that you are angry or that you’re being mean or that you don’t care about them.
again.

Who is getting mad. I do not see her getting mad. I see her correcting someone in love.

That's a bad translation. It should read ..." He by us was made sin who knew no sin." It doesn't say the word "God" in the verse. It is fully corrupt to add in extra words into the text that twist the meaning of the text. But without the corruption of the text you have no case at all...since the whole bible calls you out as a heretic. The perversion of the text makes God declare His own Son as sinful. Whereby the bible actually says...a few verses before... "God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself. " Did God charge Himself with sin? Of course not. Only enemies of God declare God to be sinful...or Christ to be sinful. But that's how far people will go to justify their sinfulness.
Well, here is that verse with the Strong's reference numbers:

2Co 5:21 ForG1063 he hath madeG4160 him to be sinG266 forG5228 us,G2257 who knewG1097 noG3361 sin;G266 thatG2443 weG2249 might be madeG1096 the righteousnessG1343 of GodG2316 inG1722 him.G846

The only words printed in italics, thus showing that they were added by the translators, are "to be." The word for God, Theos, is there. What doesn't seem to be there is the phrase you have inserted between "He" and "was made" - there is nothing to say that "by us" should be there.

Why isn’t God able to inspire translators to write exactly what he wants written?
Look at the sign of the times. There's this guy called...the devil... and he controls all the systems of the world. Yes, the devil works through systems because he isn't all powerful.

People who read the bible could be seen as the illegal migrants that are trying to enter the EU at the present time...by any means but a legal means. The devil is like the Cartel smugglers who sneak people in at night. Offering a "better life" for those who are desperate to escape the PENALTY for their many sins. Many of these illegal migrants want to enter Europe on THEIR terms ...maintaining their way of life and NOT integrating into the country they want to enter.

So it is with bible enthusiasts...who seek to enter the kingdom by reading and paying smugglers (pastors) to help them get in.

What I'm saying is that illegal entry will get you deported. Instead, why not apply for citizenship through the front gate...through Christ Himself?

I imagine they would be weeping and gnashing even MORE.
the most bitter weeping and wailing of all
is the one who does weep and wail without any hope at all . Have you ever heard
a person wail who believes there is no hope for them .
Many will weep and many will wail on JESUS day .
HE even says they will beat upon the door but he will answer from within and say
I NEVER KNEW YOU , YE who worked inqiuity .
I suggest we stop giving out any false hope and stop trying to also down play the severity of GOD .
RATHER TRY Preaching JESUS . I KNOW HE SAVES and I KNOW HOW one can be saved .
Sirs what must i DO to be saved . BELIEVE YE ON JESUS CHRIST .
THAT IS THE HOPE we ought to be preaching , NOT FALSE HOPE and not broad universal inclusive roads .
Cause BROAD is the way that leads to DESTRUCTION .
IT be JESUS preaching TIME IN the building .

Possibly. But it isn't an argument.
On JESUS day it never once implies these weepers and wailers shall be saved .
But rather
I NEVER KNEW YOU , YE who worked inqiuity , DEPART INTO THE FIRE prepared for the devil and his angels .
JESUS makes something very clear , so clear indeed that we surely need be watching and be ready .
HE makes something very clear in his parables , in his parable of the ten virgins , in other places .
ON THE DAY OF THE LORD all who failed to beleive on HIM will surely wail .
And as the rich man they will not escape their fate nor be able to do so .
HE who recieves HIS testimony has set to his seal that GOD IS TRUE
HE who believes not the testimony that GOD gave of the SON calls GOD a liar .
And all liars shall indeed have their part in the lake of fire . FROM which it never says
they get out . BUT we are warned to NOT DO SOMETHING .
DO NOT ADD TOO or TAKE FROM the words of this book . ALL who do so will surely wail and surely weep .
Creating a false love will save none . SPEAKING THE TRUTH is the only hope for this people .
AND JESUS is THE TRUTH and HE IS the Only way to GOD and only NAME whereby one may be saved

again.

Who is getting mad. I do not see her getting mad. I see her correcting someone in love.
She seems fixated on my emotional state for some reason. And her reason the first time was to say that I was upset because Epi will not confirm my flesh, or words to that effect....when I wasn't upset or angry. I don't know what her reason was yesterday. We all can have emotions at various times and for various reasons........it is not sin, if in that emotion one doesn't sin.

What you are citing has also been corrupted...there is no...he has made Him... there are no 2 "he's". It is simply He was made sin. It's up to the translators to make an evangelical disaster out of it.

The way that verse is treated is like a super verse a UNI-verse that is able to cancel ALL other verses in the bible. Anybody with a whit of sense realizes that no one verse has the power to cancel the rest of the bible. But carnal people get very excited about the bad translation..because it would give the flesh an exalted position rather than be relegated to the cross.

GodG2316 is only used once in the Greek.

So on what basis are you able to make what seems like an arrogant pronouncement? I have looked at seven English translations, and they all have something similar to the KJV. As for that verse cancelling all others in the bible, it does not.

Why isn’t God able to inspire translators to write exactly what he wants written?
God can do whatever He wants.
Also, God can let men do what they want to do and be guided by the leaven they’ve swallowed.

Without episkopos I would not even know there is more that God is pleased to give us right now, in this life. Well…I would I guess, since I have entered His rest and mostly stayed there except for when I allow myself to be agitated and feel I must be DOING something rather than waiting and resting. But I think I would have, as usual, thought I was further along than I actually was. I have arrived at a good and blessed place but I have seen people arrive there and think it is the goal when it is not the goal but just a place nearer the goal and so they stop and stay there because it is pleasant after so many years of hard struggle. It’s a gift, but it is not HIM.

You're just confusing the issue and it gets people trying to analyze with their carnal mind. The point is that all our sins were laid on Him, that we might become righteous. That is the point and nothing you are saying proves otherwise. It agrees with all other scriptures to do with that.

You are teaching salvation by grace plus continued human merit. Your own words say it plainly: God makes a man worthy, but the man must “remain worthy” by his obedience or fall from grace.

That is not the gospel Paul preached. “But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness” (Romans 4:5).

“If by grace, then is it no more of works” (Romans 11:6).

You keep confusing rewards with justification. Paul says a believer can lose reward and yet “he himself shall be saved” (1 Corinthians 3:15). That alone destroys your “radical meritocracy” as the basis of final salvation.

And you badly misuse Galatians 5:4. Paul is not warning believers that insufficient obedience makes them fall from grace. He says those seeking to be “justified by the law” are fallen from grace. You are using a verse against performance-based justification to defend performance-based justification.

Then you claim that “actual salvation” produces a complete absence of sin in thought or action. John says: “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves” (1 John 1:8).

So which should Christians believe, John or you? Just because you say you, the answer is John.

Your boasting about having spiritual experience that others supposedly lack proves nothing. The Bereans tested teaching by Scripture, not by someone's claims of superior spiritual insight.

You can throw around “unlearned,” “unstable,” “religious fool,” and “devil's work” all day. None of that answers the text.

You are publicly corrupting the gospel by teaching that Christ gets a man started, but the man's performance keeps him worthy.

Repent of it.

Christ saves. Christ justifies. Christ keeps His own.

Your merit does not complete His work.
paul calls them fools

gal 3:
O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified? 2 This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? 3 Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh? 4 Have you suffered so many things in vain—if indeed it was in vain?

What you’re describing isn’t Christianity, it’s your idea of what Christianity should be because you have no standard to base your beliefs on. Basically this is how all cults come about.

Having said that, I am aware that we have been seeing a lot of people more recently who CANT tell evil when they see it. How else would they be convinced by a doctor or psychologist to mutilate their own children?
Thats because we are in the last day.

it should be expected.

This is my pinned post on X..
