Without episkopos I would not even know there is more that God is pleased to give us right now, in this life. Well…I would I guess, since I have entered His rest and mostly stayed there except for when I allow myself to be agitated and feel I must be DOING something rather than waiting and resting. But I think I would have, as usual, thought I was further along than I actually was. I have arrived at a good and blessed place but I have seen people arrive there and think it is the goal when it is not the goal but just a place nearer the goal and so they stop and stay there because it is pleasant after so many years of hard struggle. It’s a gift, but it is not HIM.

The gospel according to episkopos is not the gospel of the Bible and if that’s what you prefer than that’s what you should do.

For that matter, why have Hebrew scholars or scribes who find that a jot or tittle was dropped or added that alters our understanding of the original.

As long as we remember we don't serve in the old way of jots and tittles anymore but in the new way of the SPIRIT. Too much splicing and dicing, picking apart, over analyzing and arguing about words will lead astray.

She seems fixated on my emotional state for some reason. And her reason the first time was to say that I was upset because Epi will not confirm my flesh, or words to that effect....when I wasn't upset or angry. I don't know what her reason was yesterday. We all can have emotions at various times and for various reasons........it is not sin, if in that emotion one doesn't sin.

the problem is Episkopos is leading people away from God by preaching and supporting a works, flesh based Gospel that is not from God.

He may help you know who God is or about him, But he can not lead you to him in a way where you can be rescued.

The gospel according to episkopos is not the gospel of the Bible and if that’s what you prefer than that’s what you should do.

The gospel I teach is based on both the POWER of God AND the MERCY of God. I am 100% biblical.

The gospel of the modern age (the "other gospel" that Paul warns us about) is by preference...molly-coddling the flesh and denying both the POWER and the MERCY of God...redirecting all the nice sounding things to those who are gullible enough to believe them.

What is more likely...people who will no longer be able to endure sound doctrine...is it directed at an individual (like me)...or by the spirit of the times believed by the majority? And I'm just pointing it out.

Who can think that far?

thats why we need to be like the bereans.

don't take anyones word as gospel truth, but test using scripture.

A leader who tells you to listen to them, for they have heard from God. is probably someone we should walk away from

but even then, test what he says from scripture.. if his word is not truth, scripture will expose that

"And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

Understand that the servant was in the lord's house. He was judged righteously with what he did with his talent, wouldn't you say? ...he was spared from death...thus saved.

Yeah, I read the post quickly, I assumed he was speaking of the poorly translated verse in 2 Cor 5:21 where they use "God" twice in some translations.

He lost the deposit he had been given...because the deposit was holy. And there is no holiness in outer darkness. That's the whole point. People who blaspheme holiness now will have their free sample revoked on judgment day...and given to one who fears the Lord and is more respectful of God's goods.

......that doesn't sound like salvation does it......it means that he lost it.

It may "sound" that way, however, since that one was serving, meaning in the lord's house (it's a parable, thus, a small "l" for lord), and to be in the Lord's house one must call on the name of the Lord (see Rom. 10:11-12), that servant was judged and saved. That servant was a "whosoever" and was saved.

One looking and satisfied to be "saved", must be careful to what one will be saved to.
