Nicola Tesla was an interesting inventor. He worked heavily on electromagnetic waves. His contributions to developing the concept of alternating current were important. That is A.C. as different than D.C.

When he died, an MIT specialist (John G. Trump) was said to have been brought in to analyze a "death ray" that Tesla was said to have been working on. Although whether true or not is perhaps different.

Interestingly enough, John G. Trump appears to be a relative of Donald Trump as reported in this article:

MIT work is a far cry from the hotel industry, but interesting if you believe the articles.

One of the greatest achievements of Teslas life was that of a wireless power transmission system shown here on the following image:

I can't tell if that is a religious building retrofitted with the ultra high voltage "all spark" for the ol' Frankenstein movies.

I am still unsure the hallucinating effect on brain waves of ultra high powered electromagnetic radiation towers.

Nikola Tesla was one of the greatest scientists and inventors of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Albert Einstein was once asked how it felt to be the smartest person in the world, he replied by saying "I don't know, ask Nicola Tesla".

Tesla immigrated to America from Serbia at a young age and got a job working for the famous inventor Thomas Edison who had invented the light bulb and had patents on many other inventions.

Back then there was no electricity and Thomas Edison had proposed to supply New York with electricity using DC current. Tesla had the idea of using AC current but Edison wouldn't listen to him.

A big investor heard Tesla's idea and funded it. Tesla left Edisons company and started his own. In the end Tesla's AC current won the deal to power New York as it was much more efficient than Edisons DC current system.

This was Tesla's biggest achievement. Today, every town in the world runs on the AC current system that was invented by Tesla.

His downfall came when Tesla claimed he could supply electricity to everyone for free. That's when he started building that tower above. But the rich and the greedy that were invested in AC power couldn't stand the idea of loosing their cash flow to free electricity, they would rather everyone pay them for it.
And so they stopped funding Tesla and tore down the tower.

Tesla was a great scientist but a terrible business man. He was shunned by all investors and didn't make enough money to go it alone, while corporations got rich from his inventions.

In the end he grew old living in a hotel room, coming up with ideas that would never make it to the mainstream. When he died the government took all his work. Who knows what they did with it. Maybe they used it to their own advantage.

Tesla wanted to help people with free electricity but the elite would not allow it, they suppressed his idea and shut him down. Today we are still paying for electricity through the greediness of the elite.

Yes, I remember watching a documentary on Tesla.

Along with supposedly pioneering AC signals for power transmission, he also engineered AC signals for air waves.

He had genius level elaborate paperwork on those ideas. Without AC signals the current cell phone towers, 5g and 2.4g systems would not function.

I remember the topic of DC power transmissions and how the amperage heated up the wires. Which raised the resistance due to heating. Loss of power and impedance was a serious drain.

If Tesla was alive today, and witnessed not only the WiFi systems, but also radar systems, satellite and all things alternating he would hopefully rest well on his achievements.

Although power transmission thru the air was not the best idea. Lower power data and voice transmission was a huge success.

The supposed "death ray" perhaps not a bad idea if it was a focused power transmission instead of a "death ray".

Like a photon LASER beam or other straight beam design, the inverse square falloff principle does not apply. The only factors there are interference and power transmission loss of the atmospheric conditions.
