The major reason why the Jews reject Jesus as the Messiah, is that to them He did not fulfill the prophecies in Isaiah 11:6-9 and 2:4. –

The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
And the nursing child shall play on the hole of the cobra, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the viper’s' den.
They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. – Isaiah 11:6-9

And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. – Isaiah 2:4

It is obvious that while Jesus does give believers spiritual peace, the physical aspects of the prophecies have not as yet been fulfilled. Does this negate Jesus as being the Messiah? It does not, as we shall see.

The scriptures reveal the time frame in which the prophecies of a warless world will be fulfilled. This time frame shows us that the warless world will commence after the judgment when Jesus returns. This becomes very clear to the teachable mind when we correlate Daniel 9:26 and the remaining chapters of his prophecy with Zechariah 14.

In Daniel 9:26, we are shown that an Anointed One (messiah in Hebrew) is killed and Jerusalem is subsequently destroyed. –

And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and to the end of the war desolations are determined. – Daniel 9:26

Jesus was killed before Jerusalem was destroyed forty years after His death in 70AD. Then Daniel proceeds to give an accurate record of historical events, including the coming antichrist (Daniel 11:36-45), who is foreshadowed by the evil Antiochus Epiphanes (Daniel 11: 21-32). The turmoil that is caused by the antichrist, which includes another attack on Jerusalem, (Daniel 11:41,45, Zechariah 14:1,2) cumulates into the last judgment in Daniel 12. Therefore according to Daniel’s prophecy, there is no warless world, or benevolent messiah appearing in the world after the destruction of Jerusalem in 70AD to the last judgment.

In Zechariah 14 we see the LORD returning and bringing the order that has been prophesied by Isaiah. Jesus prophesied of His second coming in Matthew 24, which correlates to Zechariah 14. He also said that it would be after the attack on Jerusalem, which is also prophesied in Daniel 11:41, and which is referred to as great tribulation by Jesus in Matthew 24:21.

After Daniel received his prophecies he was told by an angel that, “…the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.” – Daniel 12:9 Daniel was referred to as “greatly beloved” (Daniel 10:11,19) by God. We travel forward into time when Jesus walked the earth with His disciples. One in particular is singled out, like Daniel, as being loved by the Lord (John 13:23, 19:26). Many years after Jesus’ death and resurrection, the Apostle John received the visions contained in the book of his prophecies called Revelation. It is here in Revelation’s chapter five we are shown in verse one, a book that is sealed and is opened by Jesus in chapters six and eight and Daniel’s legacy being continued through the eyes of his future counterpart, the Apostle John. Like Daniel, he stood on the sea and witnessed a beast rise out of the water (Rev. 13); an image that Daniel also foresaw (Daniel 7:7). This last one world empire would bring evil to its fullness upon the earth, and trigger the Lord’s return to destroy it. Thus the prophecy in Isaiah 11:4 will be fulfilled. –

But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. – Isaiah 11:4

As we have been shown by God’s word, the scriptures confirm that Jesus fulfilled the prophecy in Daniel 9:26; the Anointed One, the Messiah, that is killed before the destruction of the city. And the remainder of Daniel’s prophecy confirms the fact that there would be no benevolent messiah or a warless world until after the judgment. Therefore the fact that Jesus did not bring in a warless world in His lifetime does not refute His being the Messiah, it actually confirms it.

As Jesus said to all of us, “He that has ears to hear, let him hear” – Matthew 11:15. Those who can hear will understand that Jesus is the Messiah, and rejoice in the prophetic accuracy of God’s holy word.

Therefore according to Daniel’s prophecy, there is no warless world, or benevolent messiah appearing in the world after the destruction of Jerusalem in 70AD to the last judgment.

The Daniel 11:42-44 Scripture is not the final judgment with Christ's coming. Only the last phrase of Daniel 11:45 with, "... yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him," is about the time of Christ's coming to defeat His enemies on earth per Zechariah 14:1-5, which also is the time of His gathering of His elect Church with Him.

That isn't following the Daniel 11 Scripture about the "vile person" (Antichrist) either. The "vile person", which is a title for the final Antichrist coming at the end of this world, will come to power as king in Jerusalem using PEACE and FLATTERY, not war.

Dan 11:21
21 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom:
but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.
KJV

That is another way we know Antiochus Epiphanes in 165 B.C. did not fulfill that Daniel 11 prophecy about the "vile person", simply because Antiochus took Jerusalem with an army, and not by peace and flatteries.

The coming Antichrist for the end of this world will use peace and flatteries, like the Daniel 11 prophecy says, and that is the subject of the Daniel 8:23-25 verses about the "king of fierce countenance" for the end. He will destroy many using peace, and craft will prosper by his hand, it says. And Lord Jesus did remark about that in Matthew 24:6 when He showed that as long as we hear of wars and rumors of war, then the end is not yet, the end meaning the "great tribulation" time. The only time the final Antichrist will go to war at the end is on the final days once God's "two witnesses" finish their Testimony. And that is when Lord Jesus Christ will step in to stop it, and end this present world.

So I would be careful about jumping the gun about the timing of our Lord Jesus' future 2nd coming to finally bring peace upon the earth. The coming false-Messiah is going to do just that during the "great tribulation", i.e., bring Peace and Safety upon the earth by a one-world kingdom and a one-world religion. For the deceived, they will believe that Messiah has come when that happens.

And many today are already prepared in deception, because they do not realize that the coming tribulation will be a type of 'spiritual' war by Satan disguising himself as The Christ in Jerusalem. How will he fool the majority of the whole world by being his old self during the trib? That's what today's deceived think, that they can easily recognize the Antichrist when he comes at the end of this world, because he will work easily seen evil against God's people, they think. That is not how God's Word shows the coming Antichrist will work to deceive by the symbolic waters as a flood coming out of his mouth. Revelation 13:8 shows that the whole world will worship the "dragon" (Satan), which points to their being fooled into thinking he will be God, or Messiah having come. Only those whose names were written in the book of life from the foundation of the world will not be deceived as they represent Christ's elect.

I think you missed the point of the whole article. It is about why the Jews reject Jesus as the Messiah. Daniel's prophecy shows that there is no benevolent messiah or a time of world peace until the judgment when Jesus returns. Only the antichrist appears during that time. The Jews claim that Jesus is not the Messiah because He did not bring in that time of peace, when Daniel clearly shows He was not supposed to in His earth life, only when He returns.

I didn't miss that. But those Scriptures you quoted is not the only reason they reject Jesus of Nazareth as Messiah. They don't see Messiah as God, and one born in the flesh like Jesus claiming to be God, that's a no, no to them, just because of being born in the flesh.

Daniel 8 does... show the coming Antichrist will use peace and craft to destroy many, why would you reject that easy Scripture?

Dan 8:23-25
23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full,
a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.

24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.

25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.
KJV

Then in 1 Thessalonians 5, Apostle Paul says when those who say, "Peace and safety", then the "sudden destruction" will come upon them, pointing to the "day of the Lord" with Christ's 2nd coming and end of this world. That reveals exactly what Lord Jesus said in Matthew 24:6, that as long as we hear of wars and rumors of war, the "end is not yet", that "end" meaning the "great tribulation" time, and reveals the trib will involve world peace, the opposite of a time of war.
