Jesus Himself says otherwise. That is why so many people will be surprised where they end up having made their own golden calf to worship and not the real God.

“Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?” (Matthew 7:22).

Notice the word many.

These were people who called Jesus “Lord,” did religious works in His name, and apparently expected to be accepted by Him. Yet Jesus said:

“I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity” (Matthew 7:23).

So yes, it is entirely possible for someone to speak about Christ, do impressive good works, give generously, and still not be born again.

Jesus did not tell us to judge salvation by celebrity, generosity, gospel songs, or religious language. He said:

“Ye must be born again” (John 3:7).

That is the issue. Saying “Give me a break” does not answer what Christ plainly warned about. But I can see why you would like to change the truth.
ask him about this ecumeincal all inclusive intefaith . HE supports it . many now do on both sides .
one is pro isreal and the other pro palestine but they all support the same lie .
NAMELY THIS ONE , that all RELIGOINS are coming to GOD in different ways and worship the same GOD christains do .
THAT We must all come together for to attain world peace and that this peace plan IS THE WILL OF GOD .
AND YET its of many anti christs . that peace plan DENEID THE DIRE NEED TO REPENT AND BELIEVE ON JESUS
and sold A LIE . wrangler and others support this peace plan .
And its only getting worse from here on out . SOON the all inclusive god , who was always satan
will enforce the law of its inclusive god by means of AI digital system . they wont give a rip
that true sheep are being killed and rounded up either . IN fact they will believe IT IS THE WILL OF GOD
for peace n sa fety on earth . IF you find that hard to beleive, WELL just wait cause ITS COMING IN
and will be enforced SOONER than we realize .

Dolly Parton Believed in God, but Was It the God of the Bible?

I wanna know the individual here nominated as Judge!
God is the Judge. I am not, and I have never claimed to be.

Scripture says, “There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy” (James 4:12). Romans 14:12 says, “So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.” He is the One who makes the final judgment.

But God did not leave us without a standard. He gave us His Word so we would know what He calls truth, what He calls sin, and how He expects us to live. Jesus said, “Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment” (John 7:24). That means we are not supposed to invent our own judgment, but we are supposed to compare things with what God has already said.

That is why Scripture tells us, “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God” (1 John 4:1), and Jesus said, “Ye shall know them by their fruits” (Matthew 7:16).

So no, I am not sitting in God’s seat deciding anyone’s eternal destination. I am doing what Christians are told to do, testing public claims and public fruit by Scripture.

If someone says something about God, salvation, or sin that contradicts the Bible, pointing that out is not playing God. Ignoring what God has said would be the bigger problem.

God is the Judge. The Bible is His revealed standard. Our job is to believe it, obey it, and test what we hear by it. Eternity is forever and ever, and this is not a game.

He's just being truthful. None of us know what her walk toward Christ was or wasn't. All we can do is observe the fruits. There's nothing self righteous about that.
sister they always gonna accuse those who expose sins as being self righteous .
They are in love with another god sister . the one that cries judge not , as it JUDGES THE HECK outta those who do
correct and warn . THEY hug a rainbow but throw out scriptures .
THEY always pander to tolerance but ABSOLUTELY are so fast to NOT TOLERATE TRUTH that exposes their sins .
Aint nothing new under this ol sun . WELL they cant shut me up or silence my lips .
WE cannot allow false ones to teach or seduce , we have to expose them and their doctrine .
Something our judge nots know nothing about .

GOD is the JUDGE and HE has given ALL JUDGMENt unto the SON .
We are not the judge , but we will surely use HIS WORDS to expose sins and anyone supporting sins and a lie .
Dont let men like wrangler or others sh ut and silence your mouth will false tolerance cards , victim cards
or accusations of being self righteous . This has went on far too long and its WHY the churches got so leavened
up in the first place . BY GUISE of tolerance and a judge not cry , leaven was allowed in and allowed to remain
and IT GREW and boy has it grown too .

I do hope Dolly knew the Lord and is with Him. I really do. But hoping somebody went to heaven does not make it so, and calling somebody a sister in Christ does not make them one either. God is the one who knows the heart.

Did you even watch the video? There are many more online who say the same thing. Jesus warned us about this very thing. He said, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 7:21). Then He spoke of people who were absolutely convinced they belonged to Him, yet He told them, “I never knew you” (Matthew 7:23). That should make every one of us take salvation seriously.

A person can live what looks like a good life, do kind things, talk about God, and still not be born again. Jesus said, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 3:3). That is the issue.

What concerns me is how many people simply believe what they want to believe about God and salvation without actually reading what the Bible says. That is how people get deceived. Good intentions and warm feelings are not the standard. Scripture is.

So yes, I hope Dolly was truly saved. But I am not going to tell people she definitely was when I do not know that. False assurance helps nobody. The important question for every one of us is whether we have truly repented and trusted in the Jesus Christ revealed in Scripture.
Dolly DID NOT know the LORD . now its possible she may have repented of her version of what she thought was christnaity
near her end. BUT from what i examined she was NO true christain at all , no not even close .
And just cause folks can sing songs about JESUS and just cause folks can give money to the poor
WONT mean a thing IF they oppose the very GOD and CHRIST they THINK they served .
GOD does not accept sin and never will .
DOLLY flat out was recongized by the LGBTQ as a poster child . AND I SEEN for my self what SHE said
to larry king . SHE SUPPORTS IT . SHE whole heartedly supported that act .
NOW where was her convinction . THE SPIRIT convicts us of sin , IT DONT JUSITFY SIN .
No sir , she was not a christain . But again as we see she got sick and started to suffer in her health .
IT might be she was led to repentance at her end . mAybe . maybe NOT . ONLY GOD knows
IF she repented . But in her life i saw NO true christain at work . only that big ol l ovey do one that accepts sins
and etc . NOT GOOD .

stand firm on that bible my friend . This inclusive generation will not love you me or anyone who does this .
And its gonna get far worse under and by means of the AI DIGITAL SYSTEM .
many will cheer in that day and in that hour when voices that had warned them are now slienced
as rounded up . But on JESUS day the table gets flipped over on them and then they will wail .
SEEING i dont desire their death or destruction , WE MUST STICK to the BIBLE and pray some will hear and repent
before FOREVER IT IS TOO late for them .

Only God knows where Dolly’ ended up, but scripture forbids us from declaring darkness to be light, simply because she professed to be a Christian. Keep in mind that Jesus also said many will come calling on Him saying, “Lord, Lord” only to hear Him reply “I never knew you” (Matthew 7:21–23). Professions mean nothing if we disregard what God plainly declares. Eternity is too important to buy into sentimental Christianity. TEST EVERYTHING BY THE BIBLE!

If you were accused of being a Christian, would there be enough evidence to convict you?

“Ye shall know them by their fruits” (Matthew 7:16)

"I found God in my own way." is the problem. Jesus stated clearly, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me" (John 14:6). We don't get to create our own God, change the meaning of sin, and then call it biblical Christianity. God is the Judge, but He gave us His Word so we would know what is true. Feelings are too risky to put your eternity on.

This perfectly illustrates the danger of professing Christianity but denying what Jesus taught. “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 3:3). It doesn’t matter if you’re sincere or nice or say “I believe” if you reject God’ notice. Love shows people the truth because eternity is too important for false comfort.

We don't need to verbally claim to be a judge to judge. Our language reveals whether we are judging or not. In fact, gossip is none other than bearing false witness against ones neighbour.

Did Jesus love LGBTQ people? Was he loyal to them? What about murderers and adulterers, was he loyal to them?
When you speak of Jesus forgiving sin and condemn others simultaneously you become the very enemy you claim others are.

The question is whether we have submitted to the real God, repented of our sins, and trusted the Jesus of the Bible for salvation.
[Verse 1]
He's got a way of walking
He's got a way of talking
A way to fascinate me all the time
And he's got a way with women
A way to keep my head a swimming
He's got away too many times

[Chorus]
Ooh, speaking of the devil
Well, here he comes now
Looking like an angel
Got my defenses down
He's got me dreaming
Got me scheming
Ooh, speaking' of the devil
He is driving me wild
With that wicked little grin
And that fire in his eyes
He's got me dreaming
Got me steaming
Ooh, speaking of the devil
It feels mighty close to heaven
And I'd go through hell to make him mine

[Verse 2]
He's got his spell upon me
Got to be his one and only
Burning with passion and desire
Ooh, I'm caught up in all his magic
It surely would be tragic
To never share the heat
From all this fire

Speakin' of the Devil lyrics - Dolly Parton

We don't need to verbally claim to be a judge to judge. Our language reveals whether we are judging or not. In fact, gossip is none other than bearing false witness against ones neighbour.
It is true that our words may expose a judgmental spirit. But Scripture never says all judgment is evil. Jesus Himself said, “Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment” (John 7:24).

Judging someone’s public statements is also different from claiming we know where that person will spend eternity. I never said I know Dolly Parton’s eternal destiny. Only God knows that, and He judges perfectly. What I did was compare Dolly Parton’s public statements with Scripture, as we are commanded to do.

Calling that gossip or false witness is something altogether different. Bearing false witness means saying something false about someone else. If I have misquoted her or attributed a statement to her that she did not make, point it out and I will correct it. But evaluating someone’s public claim against the Bible is not bearing false witness.

Paul said, “Prove all things; hold fast that which is good” (1 Thessalonians 5:21). That requires us to examine what is being said.

Condemning sinners under the guise of disapproving sin has been the Pharisaical game for millennia. Its nothing more than a decoy dressed in pious words.....from ones own sins.

From the OP:
Dolly Parton Believed in God, but Was It the God of the Bible?
"Everybody thinks of God as a different thing. To me, God is that greater, higher energy - that greater, wiser wisdom. It's that thing in all of us that we all have to draw from. I've always trusted God and trusted myself, which to me are intertwined. I'm a creative person, and what gifts I have come from that divine place that I try to tap into. So who have I got to be afraid of?" - The Gospel According to Dolly Parton, interviewed by Rick Clark, August 2002

Condemning sinners under the guise of disapproving sin has been the Pharisaical game for millennia. Its nothing more than a decoy dressed in pious words.....from ones own sins.
Where in the Bible does it teach what you just said? Calling sin what God calls sin is not “condemning sinners,” and it is not inherently Pharisaical. Jesus said, “Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment” (John 7:24). Yet He also confronted sin and called people to repentance. “Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish” (Luke 13:3).

Jesus did not excuse the woman taken in adultery either. He told her, “go, and sin no more” (John 8:11).

The Pharisees were condemned for their hypocrisy, self-righteousness, and traditions that neglected God’s commands. That is far different from comparing someone’s public words and actions with Scripture.

Then show me where the Bible says that warning about sin, calling false teaching false, or telling someone to repent is playing a “Pharisaical game.” If it says that, I will gladly accept it. If it does not, then you are placing something into the Bible that is not there.

The part I disagree with is saying that even if Dolly’s Christianity looked different from what Scripture teaches, that does not mean she was outside God’s will for her life. God’s will does not contradict God’s Word.

I understand what you are saying but I see people having different levels of consecration and sanctification.
Some (I call them the elect) have a deeper spiritual understanding and commitment than others.
The messages to the churches in Revelation chapters 2 & 3 indicate different groups in the Church.

It may be (and I am only speculating) is that God's will was for DP to be as she was to have access to those not normally reached by the Gospel.
I certainly do not hold her up as a role model for Christians to emulate.

A similar argument could be made for a movie like The Ten Commandments ... it might lead some to faith even though the values of the actors are not something that necessarily is Biblically correct.
