If a prayer goes on longer then in my mind it should, or if a sermon goes on and on, I find myself getting frustrated. I am assuming a wiring issue with my personality. Do you find this to happen

It depends on the person doing the praying. If they're praying long because they like to be heard praying, yes, it can be annoying ...but if it happens in a church, I just endure it, and focus on the Lord, submit my frustration or concerns to Him and just be patient. It's not the end of the world. But it may influence my decision not to return to that church because usually someone who loves to pray long prayers is controlling, and narcissistic. It happens a lot in religious cults.

A long sermon ...depends on the depth of the subject matter. But again, staying focused on the Lord and the scriptures is how I deal with that. The length of a message is not a huge deal. It's the subject matter, and whether God is in it. (Same with long song services.)

Thank you for the post.

Can we just we say we are impatient with the pace of an activity? In this age of fast internet access, microwave cooking, machine-assisted jobs, it is easy to forget to be patient.

Suggestion: pray for patience!

Perhaps spend time each day in quiet meditation, with particular emphasis on why you want some activities to be over quicker. What is it that you would prefer to be doing? What is your issue with the current activity? Boredom? Could it be God has a reason to slow the pace of your day?

Peace be with you.

Perfectly normal. Most church prayer is for show and the sermons are boring and meaningless. You're just getting bored with it because there's nothing there to capture your attention.

The anointing of Holy Spirit makes all the difference.

My dad wasn't neurodivergent - but that's about when he'd turn down his hearing aids.

You said you thought you might be ADHD. That does sound like a classic ADHD (or autistic?) reaction. (From what little I know about such disorders.) If you have a doctor you can talk to about it, do so.
