Understanding the Kingdom of God is to first know that there are two kingdom coming in the future. One is Jesus kingdom the last is the Father kingdom. Let's take a look at Jesus kingdom first. Let's go to Revelation 20: 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

So there's two way to get in Jesus kingdom, one is coming up in the first resurrection and this will be the dead in Christ as well as the living in Christ. The other way is, if you so happen to make it through the great tribulation and did not get the mark of the beast.

Paul say in 1 Corinthians 15: 20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. 21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. Let’s take a look at Jesus coming in Matthew 24: 29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 and then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Now all this will start after the great tribulation. So if you live through the great tribulation, you will change and if you sleep in christ, you will raise and change. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. (1 Corinthians 15: 51, 52) These are only the saints. Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. (Revelation 14:12) Notice the saints kept the commandments, these are the Ten Commandments brothers and Sisters. The other way getting in Jesus kingdom is to live through these events. After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. (Revelation 7: 9,10)

Now right before the Father's kingdom is the Great White throne Judge. Now this is everyone on earth who is still sleep or dead and those that made it in Jesus kingdom through the great tribulation. And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20: 11-15)

So now, let's take a look at the Father kingdom coming. And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. (Revelation 21: 1-5, 22, 23) So Jesus been on earth for thousand years, and here come the Father out of heaven coming down.

So we have a new heaven and a new earth, new Jerusalem the Father and Son, now on earth. This is the kingdom to come. Take a look at what Jesus says in Matthew 5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

The spiritual part of the Kingdom is Jesus. Jesus is teaching you, by repentance and doing the Father will. But Jesus left and set on the right hand of the Father. So the kingdom is gone and will be back on earth at Jesus second coming.

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.” (Ecclesiastes 12:10, & 13-14). Keep those Commandments and do the Father will, to get in the kingdom

Hi brotan thanks for the post it is a nice one many do not believe to fear God and Keep the commandments. Jesus said clearly to enter into life to keep the commandments. Jesus warned few would make it, but not many listen.

Keep up the good work its important!

Blessings.

You're making the grave mistake by separating this father from the Son. The Father's Kingdom is the sun's Kingdom, For they are one.

The day of the Lord is the end of this world. Jesus and His disciples had plenty of opportunities in scripture to talk about a "literal thousand year Kingdom for unrepentant jews" following Great Tribulation or the "rapture"....THEY NEVER DO.

And there it is.

God's Word even gives examples of the future return to this earth of The Father's 'house' ("many mansions"), His River of Genesis 2, and the tree of life on either side of that River. The details are written in the last nine Chapters of the Book of Ezekiel, even giving the location in the middle east.

It's language of the end of the world when Jesus comes. I don't know where you're getting that Jesus is already here, not physically. Of course he left his Holy spirit with us until he comes again.

Lord Jesus will already be here on earth... with His elect, when the New Jerusalem comes down from The Father in Heaven. It's because Jesus' future 2nd coming will happen PRIOR to His "thousand years" reign with His elect as written in Revelation 20, for that "thousand years" is written as a literal period that begins with Jesus' future return. God told us in Zechariah 14 how Jesus returns to earth with His elect Church to reign from JERUSALEM, not from Heaven.

And not all the wicked are destroyed on that day of His future 2nd coming. He and His FAITHFUL Church will reign from Jerusalem over the leftover wicked and the unsaved nations for 1,000 years, with the Millennial temple of Ezekiel 40 thru 47 manifested at Jerusalem on earth. This is shown in both Zechariah 14 and Revelation 20, and John 5:28-29, and 1 Corinthians 15:24-25.

At the end of that "thousand years", Satan will be loosed one final time to go tempt the unsaved nations. Those nations that follow Satan will come up against the "camp of the saints" on earth (at Jerusalem), and God will rain His consuming fire upon them and burn them up. This is a separate Gog-Magog event, as the one in Ezekiel 38-39 is for the day when Jesus returns prior to the "thousand years."

Then per Rev.20 also, AFTER... that "thousand years", God's Great White Throne Judgment will happen, which is the FINAL Judgment of casting into the "lake of fire" of those whose names are not found in the book of Life.

ONLY THEN... after that "lake of fire" ("second death") event of Rev.20, does The Father return back to this earth, for He was here with His Garden of Eden before Adam and Eve sinned, as written in Genesis 2. In Genesis 3 God removed His Garden of Eden off this earth, and set flaming cherubim to guard the Tree of Life. With His future return, Heaven will be revealed right here, upon this earth, for God said He created this earth to be lived upon (Isaiah 45:18). That's why it says the meek shall inherit the earth. This will be the new heavens and a new earth time. And there will no longer be need of the Millennial temple which Jesus will build when He returns at His 2nd coming. Revelation 21 explains this.

Yet I still have more to say on this and the denominational beliefs you follow...

The Lutheran Church holds to men's doctrine called Amillennialism. It treats the "thousand years" of Revelation 20 in the 'spiritual' sense, not in the literal sense.

The belief that the "thousand years" is literal, is called Pre-millennialism because it points to Christ's reign that only begins at His future 2nd coming, and the Lutheran Church does not believe that, even though that is how the "thousand years" of Revelation 20 is written.

I have heard false accusations that Premillennialism was a belief of the Jews, which is one excuse the Lutheran Synod uses in favor of Amillennialism, which Amillennialism actually was a belief started by some in the early Roman and Eastern Church, but those like St. Augustine in the 4th century A.D. made popular in his day.

The logic behind the early Church treating the "thousand years" in a spiritual sense only beginning at the cross, was the belief that Christ by His death and resurrection to the right hand of The Father had then established His Kingdom. The conversion of whole regions in Asia Minor and Europe signaled to the early Church that Christ's Kingdom had then happened. But Lord Jesus said otherwise...

1. Jesus answering Pilate who asked Him if He was King of the Jews...

John 18:36
36 Jesus answered,
"My kingdom is not of this world: if My kingdom were of this world, then would My servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is My kingdom not from hence."
KJV

The word for "hence" simply means 'here'. Jesus said above that His Kingdom is not of this world, meaning not of this PRESENT WORLD TIME. He was speaking of His literal future reign as King of Israel, which will only happen at His 2nd coming. This is why Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15:24-25 that Jesus must first reign over all... His enemies, as that is about His future "thousand years" reign beginning at His future return to earth.

2. When the spiritually blind Pharisees asked Jesus to show them the Kingdom, Jesus said the following...

Luke 17:20-21
20 And when He was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come,
He answered them and said, "The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
21 Neither shall they say, "Lo here!" or, "lo there!" for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you."
KJV

The Greek for "within" above literally means 'inside' you, meaning inside your flesh. Just what is inside our flesh body? Our 'spirit'. What is it that Jesus showed Nicodemus that is "born again" per John 3? Our 'spirit' by The Holy Spirit. Inside us today, in our 'spirit' part that God created us with, is where today's Christ's Kingdom is, not of this physical world which is preserved to be destroyed by God's consuming fire. Thus Christ's Kingdom today is ONLY manifested in The Spirit through its many-membered body of believers. It is NOT here by observation by the naked eye, for it is of The Holy Spirit which is invisible to the naked eye.

This is why throughout Christian history, like the Crusades, when the early Church thought since Christ's Kingdom had come at the cross, they thought taking Jerusalem from Islam would be easy. It failed. Islam still has their Dome of the Rock built upon the temple mount in Jerusalem, and is given to control of half the city of Jerusalem. And only in 1948 did a U.N. charter vote happen by the nations to 'allow'... many of the returning Jews there to create the nation of Israel again. The U.N. still controls Israel's borders to this day. And the majority of the Jews there still reject Lord Jesus Christ as The Messiah! So where's the physical Kingdom which God's Old Testament prophets promised with the coming of Messiah? Well, it ain't in today's Jerusalem, which is part of the prophecy for Christ's Kingdom.

And by their error of reasoning about Christ's Kingdom, they have created all kinds of men's doctrines suggesting Christ began His Kingdom reign sitting on the right hand of The Father's Throne.

Thus in the religious fervor by the early Christian Church, they overlooked the actual Bible prophecies and Christ's Own Words for when His Kingdom would physically be established here on earth.

And there's one more major... factor of Bible prophecy that determines when Christ's Kingdom will literally, physically, be established upon this earth...

Matt 25:31-33
31
When the Son of man shall come in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then shall He sit upon the throne of His glory:
32 And before Him shall be gathered all nations: and He shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33 And He shall set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.
KJV

Luke 1:32-33
32
He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto Him the throne of His father David:
33 And He shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of His kingdom there shall be no end.
KJV

The angel said the above to Mary, the mother of our Lord Jesus. It is a quote from the Old Testament prophets (See Psalms 132; Isaiah 9:6-7; Jer.23:5-6; Amos 9:11-12). Notice the angel said Jesus will reign over the "house of Jacob for ever."

That is where David's throne originally was given by The Father to David. And thus Lord Jesus Christ is to inherit that throne of David, which is an EARTHLY THRONE. That is why Matthew 25:31 says when Jesus returns to earth to divide His Church (His sheep) from the goats, that is when He will sit upon HIS THRONE of glory, which is the throne of David, NOT in Heaven on the right hand of The Father's Throne, but on earth sitting on David's throne. The early Amill Church just chose to bypass these New Testament references to the prophets.

Lord Jesus speaking to His Apostles who asked Him what they will receive for having given up all and following Him...

Matt 19:28
28 And Jesus said unto them, "Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed Me,
in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of His glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel."
KJV

Right there with that, "in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of His glory", ties 2 major events of Bible prophecy together, i.e., the end of this present world when Jesus returns on the "day of the Lord", and that being the 'day' when He will inherit His throne, an earthly throne from David. And then those two points are tied with the timing in Jesus' answer to His Apostles of what they would receive, that each one of them would sit upon a throne judging the twelve tribes of Israel, of which Ezekiel 48 reveals the final layout of the 12 tribes in Christ's future 'literal' Kingdom established upon this earth.

3. The coming Revelation 13:1 beast system over all nations, which is almost completed today, will be about the "dragon" (Satan) reigning 42 months over all nations and peoples on this earth at the end before Jesus' coming to destroy all that (Rev.13:4-8). For that to happen reveals this present world definitely is NOT Christ's literal physical Kingdom having come, which is what Lord Jesus actually said in John 18:36. Instead, Christ's Kingdom today is ONLY manifested in The SPIRIT through His faithful servants on earth. This is why many Christian Church buildings today are still being attacked and burned by radical unbelievers. The Old Testament prophets revealed those kind things will in no way happen when Jesus Christ comes to sit upon His Throne of Glory, on this earth. All... the wicked will be subdued.

Per Revelation 3:9, Lord Jesus told His elect of the Church of Philadelphia that He will make those of the "synagogue of Satan", Christ's greatest enemies on earth, to come and worship Him at the feet of His elect. That has NEVER happened yet to this day. It will only happen once Lord Jesus returns to this earth sometime in our near future. Likewise in Zechariah 14:16-20, the leftovers of the armies that shall come up against Jerusalem on the last day of this world, will be made to come up to Jerusalem to worship The KING (Jesus Christ) from year to year, and keep the Feast of Tabernacles. And those nations it says that refuse to go up, there will be no rain upon their lands.

Who then would want those in Christ Jesus to be deceived about this present world with the pseudo-Christ (false-Messiah of Matt.24:23-26, which is singular per Strong's Exhaustive Concordance), when Jesus warned us in His Olivet discourse that false one will come to earth and fool the whole world into believing he is God having come? (See 2 Thessalonians 2 about the "strong delusion".)

Thus what GOD's WRITTEN WORD says, and what some men say, are often two contrary and opposite things.

I'm sure you do but unfortunately all the verses that you use relating to Christ's coming have to do with His second coming at the last day of this world. There is no language whatsoever in scripture that speaks of a third coming of Jesus.

The only place that you and many others can go to justify that insane doctrine is Revelation 20 which is pure allegory like most of Revelation. Please keep in mind that the book of Revelation was a vision of John, not a physical walkthrough. The book is filled with spiritual concepts and even spiritual numbers that represent certain realities.

There is not one single verse in the rest of the Bible that describes a literal thousand year Kingdom For jews. Please test me on that , you won't find any. The only Israel that has a future inheritance is the body of Christ.

That's convenient.
If you do not like a Scripture just call it allegory.

You cannot use that "third coming" excuse, because I never mentioned any such third coming by Christ, as I recognize Jesus' teaching that His 2nd coming is AFTER the tribulation to gather His Church, like He said in His Olivet discourse. So trying to use that "third coming" idea belongs to Dispensationalists on man's false Pre-trib Rapture theory, which I do not... follow. Zechariah 9:9-10 mentions only TWO advents of our Lord Jesus Christ, the 1st one to die on the cross, the 2nd one to take literal reign over the whole earth with His elect priests and kings.

You are actually speaking without knowledge of what God's written Word actually says. You have succumbed to doctrines of men against Christ Jesus and His Word instead.

Many of the symbols and events Apostle John was shown in Christ's Book of Revelation come from the Old Testament Books of God's prophets, and including starting in Genesis. So to claim Christ's Revelation was just a 'meaningless' vision given to Apostle John, is the devil talking through you because of your being brainwashed by the doctrines of men you follow.

And the Book of Revelation is not Apostle John's Revelation, it is The Revelation of Jesus Christ given to His Church through John. The actual Greek word for Revelation there means, 'The Revealing'. Thus it is definitely not all symbolic allegory like how some at the Christian school in Alexandria, Egypt treated it (like Origen and Clement of Alexandria).

Again, you show your lack of knowledge of God's written Word, even in The New Testament Scriptures! What do you think Jesus was talking about to His Apostles in Matthew 19:28 when He promised they each would sit upon a throne judging the 12 tribes of ISRAEL?

Your Biblical illiteracy is astounding. There's so much Bible Scripture in the Old Testament prophets about the future restoration of Israel in the holy land involving the land which God promised the fathers of the children of Israel, that only someone completely BLIND would say something like you did above.

Love you all; I'm just listening and studying because we know who is making intercessions for His believers day and night.

Mostly to hear what He has to say about His Father's Kingdom: Matthew 26:29 KJV

29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.

Love, Walter :

What Jesus actually said is this: -

29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it renewed/refurbished ("kainon") with you in my Father's kingdom.

and the intent/context of the verse is very different.
