I have been praying to god, studying his word and just talking to him. I'll admit, I feel I need to talk to him more. I am being attacked yet again and it seems some of my prayers have gone unheard. I'm sure it's because of my inability to forgive people in my life. One or more of these people, who are in my family, are doing witchcraft on me.

I'm finding it hard to let go. I'm trying to pray for them. One of them is a christian and engaging in this stuff. I don't know. I feel like my prayers are not heard. It must be my unforgiveness. I'm doing my best to let it go. Can you pray for me?

ALL 'Christians' sin in some way, I do, you do, we ALL do.
ALL your sins are forgiven and you ARE saved, ARE HS sealed.
Col 2:13 ..., having forgiven you all trespasses
By hearing, trusting and believing that Christ died, was buried, rose 3 days later.
Gal 1:11-12, 1 Cor 15:1-4, Eph 1:13
..
Some well meaning people claim that what you do also determines whether or not you are saved ?
Titus 3:5-7, Gal 2:16, Eph 2:8-9, Rom 3:28, Rom 4:5, Rom 5:1 teaches otherwise.
..
Then they will use other verses to dispute the above.
Ok, does that mean the above verses are a lie or that they are confused !!!

I sent this to you the thread before your last.
Then on your next thread I asked you if you had seen and prayed with Derek Prince.
You never answered me. Therefore, I assume you didn’t.
I also encouraged you to renounce the occult in your life, read the Bible consistently, and find a Full Gospel church that believes and practices deliverance. After being delivered, to get follow up counseling with a believer, that has a church covering, and knows what he/she is doing.
You state that you live in NY. If it’s NYC, consider the Brooklyn Tabernacle, in Brooklyn of course. You should be able to get help there. If not, google charismatic/Pentecostal churches, and find one that believes in SCRIPTURAL deliverance.
Please, get the help you need.

I apologize. It might sound dumb, but how does this relate to the post I made? I'm not trying to be mean or anything, I'm genuinely wondering how this ties into it. Are you speaking about the unforgiveness?

Oops! I might've accidentally replied to you when I meant to reply only to the other person. Ignore that. I said the prayer. I feel a lot lighter now. I'll probably go to a church soon.

We dont sin if we do not permit it.
When we are truly born again in Christ
We dont sin, and if we sin its because we
Chose to do so.
If we dont remain in Him we cannot possess
His Spirit in us.

Hi,
Sure we can honestly discuss some of
Your questions.
I assume you are referring to our ability
To choose not to sin?
Christ said “ be perfect like your heavenly father” yes?
We know we can at least aspire to what
Christ said we can be, right?

eg How do you rate your compliance with Matt 25:37-46
Myself, I FAIL
.
.

Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

38When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

39Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

40And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

41Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

42For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:

43I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

44Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

45Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

46And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Im a bit confused with this point with reference
To “our sinning”?
If we look at this in how we respond to any of the above, true enough, our hearts should be moved to always seek to help those we can, when or
If we can, however, it would have to be in
Our power to be able to do, meaning, if we
Were able to be presented with the opportunity, so when you mention, for yourself you fail, in what way do you believe you fail?
We would need to look at our own heart, and
To be aware of others needs when or if it
Presents itself to us.
Perhaps you refer to not having the opportunity?
Or are you saying you feel your heart isnt
Responsive?
Maybe you can elaborate.

The first question remains answered, do you claim you no longer sin ?
Id have to honestly say i no longer sin now, no,
But looking back over my life i can see the
Difference of being much more ignorant, and
Why i sinned, so although ignorance is not
Being used as an excuse, what im saying, is,
I was only considering my own decision making
Processes and not at all of the actual sin, referring to abortion, what i felt was best for me
Without considering the degree of sin and
Only thinking of myself, which is why i have
The deep remorse from that choice.

The suffering still remains though there was
Ignorance, sin is still sin and it cannot be
Excused.

Overall, my take on sin, is it can at times
Be purely out of our own selfishness, or
We can react in an unkind way from
Our temper, and feel the guilt after the
Fact and need to apologize.

Do you do the following as COMMANDED by Christ ?
Matt 25:-
37Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

38When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

39Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

When there is a need or where there is a need
If its in our power to do matt 25, yes i would, i have, and albeit we cannot all do these
Things on a constant basis, i believe God
Puts ppl in our path in this life, and if that
Time comes, yes, Jesus would want for
People to open themselves up to the callng before them.

Matt 25:43 ....and in prison, and ye visited me not.
You are commanded to visit them yet you do not UNLESS THEY ARE IN YOUR PATH
ps NEITHER do I.
You CONTINUE to be a sinner like ALL of us are in some way
Lord Lord, did I not ....... will be your excuse come judgement time.

Im not relating to this scripture in the same way
You are, as far as to say we are sinning, unless the time came whereby we purposely neglected
To see the need and we ignored it.

I think this scripture is describing that whatsoever we do to the least of them we
Are doing it for Jesus, and i do not interpret it as we are to literally go to prisons to visit ppl
Or literally clothe all of the naked, rather,
I understand the scripture to be giving us
Examples of everything we have the ability to do or cannot do we are or arent doing it for Jesus.

I understand the scripture as a preparedness
To do these things if they are presented to us, with a willing heart and spirit for love of the
Brethren is love for Jesus.
I do not understand the scripture to mean
We are sinning if we dont visit people in prisons
And or if we do not clothe the naked each
Opportunity we get to do so, rather, altgough it can be a calling for people to have prison ministrys to visit is a nice calling to do, because
People can need our visits in their places of residence for us to visit and bring food or such things to them not just in a prison persay.

My understanding of this scripture exemplies the willingness we have to do kind things for
Others when we can, not that of something
We have to set out to do weekly or daily, since its an example, i believe, of the kind of heart
We are to have, open to those who we find during our lifetime to help.

This understanding presents itself to our heart
Whether or where we see the need and respond, or whether we can just ignore such
A calling because we cant go out of our way.
