The problem is that most of those in government are not Christian and some don't even have any belief in God.

I must confess that I know very little about the Epstein files and have no desire to learn any more than I already know.
What I know is sufficient for me.
Man is damaged and this only proves it.
Those of us that are innocent can hardly believe what goes on with some folk.

I did listen to it and, of course, I agree.
It is a spiritual battle.
It scares me at times to know how strong evil is.
It's so much easier to see the evil than it is to see the good.

Right. I'd say that DEI is based on equity and not equality.
Equal means that we all have an equal opportunity.
Equity means that compensation is made for some members of a society.
For instance, if they have less education...they are given more opportunity to give them a better chance.
This lowers the standards of a society and is actually very harmful.
Yes. These days it's called DEI, but I believe Trump lhas rejected this ideology in governnment hirings.

It is reverse descrimination and actually cultivates descrimination. A misplaced kindness. Or perhaps something deeper as it always seems to come with wanting to also tear down the system to rebuild it in the image of those who push DEI and the like. So perhaps more than just nobel but one out of revenge and hate against the system.

Only in that they both hate the west. That is what makes them allies. The ideologues that push the ideology believe everyone who is not the west is a victim of oppression. Even the terrorist. Even transwomen over biological women. It is an ideology that sees everything as oppressed and oppressor. Which is classic Marxism. Now cultural marxism in that its not just class but race, gender, sex and any other issue created.

The left is always for the underdog...maybe they believe muslims are the underdog due to the fact that the right is against the spread of Islam?

I think theres a little of that. But the right was not against immigration of having different cultures come in. Just like all western nations had a good and balanced immigration policy.

This is going beyond that where immigration has got out of hand and there is no vetting. It use to be that immigrants assimulated into and enhanced the host culture. Now its bringing in all the problems the west had thanked God they were far away from. We have seen a rise in all the issues that were happening in these Muslim nations.

In other words instead of intergrating and becoming westernised. They are making their own culture take over the west. that is what they want.

The progressive left has lost its national identity and wants to create a global and multicultural society to the point where there is no national identity. Hense the idea that borders are oppressive. So there is a fundemental ideoogical difference between how each sode sees the world.

Of course multi-culturalism doesn't work.

It does if you do it properly. I remember in my nation Australia we have an influx of Italians and Greeks and other Europeans. But they were from nations who subscribed to western ideas. We integrated them and they became new Australians and icons of Australian culture in that they brought an Aussiefied version of Italian and Greek culture. It enhanced us rather than devalued.

But now its just mass immigration, no integration and a power play between different and conflicting cultures fighting in a culture war. Thus now threatening the very foundation of western civilisation.

What worked for The US is that the immigrants coming to the US always wanted to intergrate.

Your one step ahead of me. I agree. That was the big difference and you will notice both parties agreed back then. The Left were still nationalists and upheld western ideas and values.

I think it all began around the 80s when multiculturalism was all the rage. It was a constant fxation on everything had to be something eslse besides the home culture. It was everywhere like pride flags. Overkill and neglecting national pride.

It was pushed by academia. Along with Critical race theory and the like which is the basis for DEI and woke ideology today.

The parents had a difficult time, but the children born in the US really did get a better life.

Actually people came because the US and west offered a better life. It was difficult in that it was a different nation. But we did share a lot of ideas as both were westernised.

But even the Vietnamese who came in after the Vietnam war integrated well and became part of Aussie culture where we had Asian resturant were all the rage. Thai food was beautiful. So were the people.

Muslims do not want to intergrate.
It goes beyond that.
They want US to become like THEM.
They want rights afforded to them in other countries that they do not give to those of different religions in their countries.

Yes this seems to be the issue. That we are inviting people that hate us. Have a completely different worldview. BUt also a anti human rights belief which is not just western ideas but a fundemental truth principle all humans know. Yet they are alien to that.

The problem is at the same time due to DEI and Woke ideology a hate has developed for the west by locals. This aligns the Islamist with ideologues. Queers for Palistine and all that. The Islamists love it and are not stupis. I think they contributed to this destablisation by sending in trouble makers to divide people. Some big money behind bringing down the west.

You can if they commit crime or are caught plotting against the west. You can if they are illegal. I think the US now has reached reverse immigration for the first time. Now some European nations are doing the same after realising the chaos they brought upon themselves.

Intergration of the young is the only solution - I may be wrong, but I don't see any other way.

The young are not as prone to Islam's brainwashing as their parents were due to the internet and the dispersion of information about that religion that comes from the mind of a sick person.

Yes intergration is the kep if we further immigration. But we need to have a big rethink and put in place measures. I think the recent world events on immigration has caused everyone to rethink what is nationalism and what is immigration and how we should do it. Or even do it at all.

Populations are growing and theres only so much a nation can do without completely destroying itself.

I mean the best solution is that the nations where people are fleeing from should also be made safe and free like the west. Then they would not need to flee to a strange nation. TO some extent that is sort of happening where dictators are being toppled and people are rising up against them.

But its a trying time for the world at the moment and I think it may get worse before it gets better. The ultimate solution is Gods Kingdom and not some world kingdom.
