My daughter turned three this month and I find myself liking the new things that come with the age. She is eager to show off new skills and learning to communicate.
Hi, TisusTwoWife, it is always good to hear from you, especially with something like that. Love always, Sister.

My friend was taught the virtue of "never showing up empty handed". She'll always bring gifts with her like homemade cookies, crafts she made with her toddler, or chocolate.

I've incorporated this into my own lifestyle. It's great to have friends worth admiring.

This is a lovely, thoughtful thing to do. I have also incorporated this into my daily life because when I have been invited to things, I forget that I should bring something. This was normal in my parents' lifetime, but I had not really thought about it until recently.

I don't want to feel like I "scrolled" past the life. I want to focus, slow down, and appreciate things more.

When everything is aggravating, can I reach for contentment that only Christ can give? He uses trials for our good and refinement.

What is God trying to teach my through inconveniences and annoyances? Is it the patience that He so willingly gives me?

Im not a type A super organized planner Mom. And that's okay.
I've viewed taking life as it comes as a weakness for far too long now. I won't do it anymore. Im a woman of rhythms and priorities more than schedules. I can adapt to life's ebbs and flows well. Im creative and full of dreams. These are my strengths. Ill do better not coveting the strengths of someone else.

My youtube algorithm is full of people desperately seeking money with copycat content. I would love to see more creativity for its own sake.

About a week ago, a friend was going on a trip for 5 days and asked if I could look after their kitten while they were away. I'm not really a cat person, but I reluctantly agreed. This particular kitten (looks more like a cat and not a kitten). Anyway, I already had the rundown that this kitten was not normal and had some mental health issues. (if that is actually possible). I have looked after this cat in the past, and it is quite timid and difficult to approach and not the type you can pet. The day before they were packing bags, and the cat observed them preparing to travel, then it disappeared and didn't return before they left, so they had to take the chance and leave it home, hoping that it was going to be able to take care of itself for 5 days. The cat has not been on its own, and it was always fed by this family. They do have another cat, but it is basically self-sufficient and able to hunt for itself.

So they left. Although I tried my best not to be concerned about this cat left on its own with mental health issues, I prayed for it every morning because I really was concerned for its well-being, hoping that a neighbor nearby or that the other cat would bring it food in some divine way. When you run out of options, the best thing to do is pray. Anyway, the friend got home and told me that their property was covered in bits and pieces of rabbit all over their lawn; the cat was home. It looked fat and fluffy, like it had been eating well and happy. I couldn't imagine what happened during those 5 days. Did the other cat bring it food? Did it hunt for itself? We will never know. :IDK:

I love how strongly you count on God to act. You have a great faith, don't you? :)

Dear ChristianityBoard,
I love you dearly. So many members here have been so kind to me. And the ones who don't, I think of as quirky sheep in a pasture. Ive learned not to take things so personally.

I pray for this place and take ownership for what I say here. It matters to me how things go and Im not afraid to say it.

God has given me a sincere regard for this place, though I've been unwilling to walk in it at times.

Ill walk in it now. To love anything is to risk being hurt. In learning to embrace my softness and feminine nature, Im more okay with that more than ever.

Some members only stay for a short time. Some have very different intentions. That's okay. For me, this is an online home.

Yes, dear, when you cannot make anything black or white or when you cannot change anything, even if you worked hard physically to make things happen. Prayer is the last resort, although it should always be the first port of call. For some unknown reason, we still like to try it our way and then realize it can't be done. Then get to thinking that only God can change a situation...then we finally get to having faith in God through prayer. Prayer can change the course of history. :thumbsupx1

Currently sitting with my grandma in the hospital. She almost fell down today. Thankfully I was there to help my grandpa hold her up and bring her back to the couch. They admitted her and I'm going to stay overnight in the hospital just to be safe. She's blind.

Hopefully it's nothing serious. But she lost all strength in her legs and experienced some dizziness.
