Just wonder, everything that occurs to Christians is used by God for their “good.” Therefore, it doesn’t matter what believers encounter, God makes certain it will “work together for good” (Ro 8:28). It’s in the trials that this comes out the most.
Their faith always being tested, in the good and in the hard. Not the testing of pass or failure, but the test of strengthening their faith. This is what it’s mostly about; trusting in Him and realizing that it takes time for Him to show us the goodness out of whatever it is that takes place.
True faith never moves backwards. Sometimes it takes a while for evidence of the goodness to be seen. Just hold out and He will show you the answer or deliverance! Even if you struggle for an answer He will still work it for your “good;” and the more patient you become, the easier it will be on you.
The most important thing to remember is that He always eventually shows you the answer, because all of the testing is within the lesson learned. God makes certain it’s all strength-giving, in your faith. Faith is temporary in this life, so you want to grow in it according to how God wants you! Faith will not be needed in the next life, for “what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for” (Rom 8:24)?
