Each person in my life from the oldest to the youngest has stepped up and helped me profoundly.
My husband goes above and beyond. My roommate is awesome and willing to help when I miss something. My in laws love our children dearly and consistently. My sister in law helps look after them. My parents have always been there and continue to be a support. They helped us get a new car.
Everyone just helps me and I don't have to twist anyone's arm. I am just blown away. Grateful.

I decided instead of focusing on wishing things would slow down, I'd focus on God being with me. That is enough.
And sure enough, when I took my daughter to the dentist I got the kindest staff. She helped Naomi get through a 40 minute wait with so much patience and grace. She had a cross tattoo on her wrist. Naomi was snuggled against her and took to her immediately.
I'm so grateful for God being with me. He's with me this week as I work in the home and chauffeur kids to appointments.

Ive tapped down the desire to rest for enough days. Im hoping this weekend Ill get into one of my husband's video games with his help, journal, and find a new fiction book to read. We live next to the mall. Maybe I can get a pumpkin spice latte or some other fall desserty drink from there.
God is helping me enjoy today. Sometimes my attitude isn't right when I wake up. But God always helps me do better when I remember He is with me.

Why is there no "Men Only" rooms on this forum but there are for 'Women Only'.
That's not right.
That's not right.
The life of a servant or slave has been deemed in modern times as a life not worth living. But serving is a Christian virtue for a reason. There is true greatness in it. In heaven, we won't all be resting but serving God.
You know, I think I recall pointing this out a while back and never got an answer. Or maybe that was the answer.
