Good reminder that the fight isn't against people. The part that helps me is James 4:7, submit to God first and then resist. I used to try it the other way around and just wore myself out.

Paul is identifying who the Winds of Heaven were as being "the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places" who were the four/five beats of Daniel 7:2-12.

The entity type of the beasts, in Daniel 7, are wicked, rebelling, fallen heavenly hosts who stirred up the sea of humanity such that they manifested the dominate characteristic of the respective beasts. In our earthly dominion the respective beasts dominate characteristic are manifester in the people groups, kingdoms and empires who have chosen to inhabit their chosen's beasts' dominion. The people groups, kingdoms and empires over time ebb into and out of the beasts' respective dominions such that we can observe through history this natural infusion and rejection of their respective beast's dominion.

The third beasts' manifestations in people groups, kingdoms and empires can be seen in the following groupings, Assyria, Babylon, the Medes and Persians empire, the Grecian's empires of which the Seleucid Grecian Empire held dominion over the Land of Babylon after the death of Alexandra the Great in 323 BC, the Roman Empire etc up and until this present time when these empires have also inhabited the third Beasts' dominion which includes, Spain, Portugal, Dutch, French, British, Germany, etc. and today we also see the USA, Russa, China and India being influenced by the Third Beast of Daniel7:2-12.

Around the year 2024-2045 AD the beasts will be judged along with the kings of the earth and removed from the face of the earth for a period of 1,000 years before the influence of Satan and his five beasts will be allowed for a little while period before the end of the Seventh Age.

After 2044-2045 AD God's promised time of peace in the earth for Israel, scattered though all of the earth will endure until Satan, his five beasts and the kings of the earth are released during the Little While Period of around 24 years so that the great tribulation can unfold.
