The most correct and obvious answer to the question of “Where did Universe come from?” is that it, being finite, has eternal Primal cause, which is non-material by its nature and not bound by laws of nature as matter is. It is simple and elementary.
More by link: Where did Universe come from?

as 101G has said it was created from nothing by God's command.
There is no need to read the article you linked to.

If there is a need you should say why in the opening post.

John 1:1-3 KJVS
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
[2] The same was in the beginning with God. [3] All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Jesus made all.

For a Christian the answer is even simpler -- God created the universe in six 24-hour days. See Exodus 20:11 for confirmation of the Genesis account.

If you exclude God from this, then it becomes meaningless.

What is it?

I see those of a contentious spirit have nothing to teach beyond being a discernment practice case for those who see and pity their regrettable condition. Without love or compassion they press on supposing themselves to be teachers of the truth and realizing that they have nothing
worthwhile to offer. First there must be love for your fellows. If this is not present then what use is the rest? I honestly say that I have compassion you.

1 Timothy 6:4 KJVS
He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,...

Being a lover of peace I have no more words to offer here beyond saying that I will and have prayed for you.

Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of those without strength and not just please ourselves. Each of us is to please his neighbor for his good, to his edification.
Romans 15:1‭-‬2 NASB

Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice!

Ok. Since you rather argue than respond to my question I withdraw my question and will move on.

eugenelester: Why the physical Universe?

When the eternal God our creator decided and planned (using his word(s)) to create the concept of intelligent life on a ‘lower’ scale, below the heaven of his abode, he decided to create a discrete/relative time dimension so he could easily manage, observe, alter at will and 'live' within it. He wanted the physical universe as a place 'to be' and share himself with what he would create in it. After time was introduced (from the beginning with the words/thought/power of God) space became its byproduct. Originally dark space, he then filled it in many places with light energy and thus matter became its byproduct. The finite universe, the 3-dimensions of space and relative discrete time was now created and ready for 'living' matter and beings like us earthlings.
