It is imperative that the believer has a revelation of the indwelling Christ. There was a point in time when God revealed Christ in Paul, Gal. 1:15-16

15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,

16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:

Revelation comes by Spirit teaching, it can be referred to as Spirit taught knowledge.

The revelation of the indwelling Christ; is the gospel. Paul said his gospel was a person and that person dwelled in every born again believer, Gal. 1:11-12

11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.

12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Has it ever occurred to you why there can be so much division in Christianity. How two different groups can have just a little different understanding and have nothing to do with each other.
The law always has division, there can be no fellowship in law because of it's divisiveness. Members of the same group fall out over the way it should be interpreted.
Some of the old-timers in certain denominations would literally scuffle over the interpretation of the law. The day will come again when men will not endure sound doctrine and despise you for God's sake.

Revelation is the most important thing to happen to a Christian. We must have a revelation of Christ to see what is so plainly written.

What does revelation do; it free's the mind, it gives all of written scripture it's proper perspective. It will change your doctrine from an outer knowledge, to an inner knowledge. It is the key to unlock your understanding to knowing Christ. There are things in God that are just for you, for your expression in life and knowledge.
Men seek the wisdom of the world by their training and education, our wisdom is not of this world. We speak the wisdom of God, the hidden wisdom of God.
Our wisdom is a person and that person revealed, 1 Cor. 2:7

7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

Knowledge shall increase in the last days, and we see it happening. There is more education, more understanding, more knowledge, but its worldly, earthly, has no impact on the thing's of God.
Without revelation the mind operates from the old knowledge of good and evil. You ever wonder why professing Christian's look no different from the world sometimes, it's the mind.
Of coarse we are quick to judge every book by our doctrine, and deem them un-saved, heathens.
Not knowing the difference between the two and showcasing ignorance.

Paul told the Galatians they needed to learn Christ. What christ do you suppose he was reffering to.
As we have mentioned time and again Paul gives us the in Christ statement over 150 times.

I need to know Him who is my life, and the only way to know Him as life is revelation.
Some might ask how do I know I have had a revelation of the indwelling Christ. The answer Paul said is simple; no man can reveal it to you, and when the HolySpirit reveals Christ in you, you will know it. No man will have to say "you got it" you will know it, Gal. 1:16-17

16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:

17 Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.

I guess it all depends on whether or not a person believes they have been given the right to eat freely from the tree of life, or if the eating of the tree is yet future. Consider Genesis 3:24 “So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.”

Why is the word so well kept that it can ONLY be revealed and opened by the Will and choosing of God only. God draws to the gate. God draws to the narrow way that leads to life eternal in the Son. Matthew 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

The flaming sword, God placed, keeps the narrow way which leads to life, the flaming sword turns every way, to keep the way...few there be that find it.

Proverbs 15:4
[4] A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit. — a breach in the spirit is in separation from the tree of life, the tree of life BEING the Revelation of Jesus Christ —John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

Revelation 2:7
[7] He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

Indeed, tree of life i.e. nourishment for our soul, is none other than our Lord Jesus Christ. The way that leads to Him are the virtues, i.e. the practice of His commandments. This way is guarded by the Cherubim and the flaming sword. Cherubim is interpreted abundance of knowledge. By means of knowledge (about God and divine things) we come to desire God. By means of the flaming sword, which represents spiritual discernment that slays the evil powers and the passions of the flesh, we come to fear God. So fear of and desire for God guard the way to the tree of life. The sword is said to turnabout (LXX), because it blocks our way to the tree when we sin and is turned away to allow access when we repent.

We can also say that Christ is the fruit hanging from the life giving tree of the Cross. We partake of Him to the degree we pick up our Cross and follow Him.

Our sins are only slain at His cross. So to enter into Zion and kingdom life we need to pass through His death...so that we are free to enter into His life.

Our cross we bear in our own efforts to follow Christ. We will never enter in this way.
His cross is towards His life. Once we enter into His life...everything becomes easy. His burden is light. It is no longer our cross...but His. It is no longer our life...but His.

Our cross in our strength.
His cross in His strength.

Those are the 2 ways we can follow Christ. Jesus is risen...we have access to His grace now.

Luke 14:25-27: - 25 Now great multitudes went with Him. And He turned and said to them, 26 "If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple. 27 And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple.

I think that this is quite explicit and easy to understand.
