The last word in the book of Revelation is "Amen." which indicates that it might be the prayer of someone.

"...Where there are prophecies, they shall fail..." (1 Corinthians 13:8).

"Eternal vigilance is the price of security."

"...world without end..." (Ephesians 3:21).

What is your point? That the prophecy of Revelation will fail?

That actually IS an interesting observation...… although I am fairly sure "Amen" is not simply just a prayer sign-off.

Mainly, that it doesn't have to necessarily happen in our time. Before it can come to pass, the power of the holy people must be scattered. So that means either the rapture or a major falling away.

As long as the church continues to act as a preserving agent (salt and light), it cannot happen; and therefore if it does not happen, it doesn't mean that God isn't on the throne.

What verses show "the power of the holy people must be scattered" before Revelation comes to pass?

The church will still be here after Revelation has begun. Who do you think is being killed in the 5th seal of Revelation 6:11? Believers. Who do you think the beast is overcoming in Revelation 13:7? Believers.

How do you know it is not the Holy Spirit that must be removed for the falling away to take place?

Somewhere in Daniel Chapter 12.

So, are you saying that the Holy Spirit will be removed, but that the church will not be; and that thus, the Holy Spirit will be removed from the church?

I don't see it.

I'm not saying anything dogmatically. I am asking questions. Who falls away? Believers? What causes that?

I use and appreciate the KJV.
So do I. the reason that I asked him was that I was referring primarily to it when I mentioned that statement of scripture. I find also that many a time other translations don't say it in the same words; something is lost in the translation and when you refer someone to something that the Bible says, they do not think that the Bible says it because their version doesn't say it.

The last word in the book of Revelation is "Amen." which indicates that it might be the prayer of someone.
1. "Amen" at the end of a prayer is an expression of agreement with what was prayed for and means "So be it". However "Amen" has other applications also.

2. When Christ said "Verily, verily" (or "truly, truly"), He actually said "Amen, Amen".
Strong's Concordance
amén: truly
Original Word: ἀμήν
Part of Speech: Hebrew Form (Indclinable)
Transliteration: amén
Phonetic Spelling: (am-ane')
Definition: truly
Usage: verily, truly, amen; at the end of sentences may be paraphrased by: So let it be.

Thayer's Greek Lexicon
STRONGS NT 281: ἀμήν
a. at the beginning of a discourse, surely, of a truth, truly; so frequent in the discourses of Christ in Matthew, Mark, and Luke
b. at the close of a sentence; so it is, so be it, may it be fulfilled

So in Revelation 22:20,21 it means "may it be fulfilled"

I want to make you work. The Bible tells me that it is wisdom both to disperse and conceal knowledge.
If you are referring to Daniel 12:7, that verse says nothing about how the book of Revelation cannot begin until the power of the holy people is scattered. Once again you read whatever you want into the text.

Let's see, Daniel 12:7...yes, that it the verse that I was referring to...and it seems that you do with it the same as you do with all other scripture that testifies of the truth.

I believe that the church ought to push for an amendment to the Constitution that the RFID chip cannot be forced on anyone.

Explain to us where your belief about Revelation not coming to pass until the power of the holy people is scattered is found in that verse. I don't see the word "Revelation". I believe this verse will come to pass during the events of the Book of Revelation and not before. Explain why you believe it comes before Revelation.

You are going to have to study the Book of Revelation and make all the proper connections yourself. I don't want to give any ideas to someone who might take advantage of them and implement them if I spoke of them from scripture. Because I don't want those things to take place right away because I am not certain of a pre-tribulation rapture.

It's alright, my friend, it is something that the Holy Spirit is going to have to show you in a time when you are able to receive it.
