...and the sad demise of entire flocks of birds....bees....fish...is very disturbing from several perspectives. The Department of Conservation in New Zealand respond to up to 85 incidents every year of stranded whales on beaches. The most recent 140 whales discovered on a remote beach on Stewart Island, located at the southern extremity of the country. By the time a DoC rep arrived at the scene, half were already dead, and because of the condition of those remaining, lack of personnel, and the remoteness of the beach, they euthanised the remaining mammals...
While such an event is not among those specifically listed as being indicative of last day events, I do wonder if the following could in some sense apply to innocent animals as well as the righteous?
Isaiah 57:1 ¶ The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.

The planet is in turmoil for all who have eyes to see...nothing is untouched....the air, the land, even space is polluted, the seasons, the animals the people. Breakdown is all around us with an increasing rapidity. To set ones sights on health and life in the real sense of the words and pursue it is a rarity. Image is just about all encompassing....from the mothers club to the church, from politics to fashion...even the children are infected at a younger and younger age. people talk the talk but don't walk the walk.
When the Son of Man comes will he find faith on the earth?...Jesus

The earth grows weary.
Yes, it is dying. I used to farm. The land is so worn out and depleted of natural nutrients that only artificial fertilisers prompt growth. Only those believers who farm and observe the 7 yearly Sabbaths, are finding their pastures able to recuperate. They rest one seventh of their land every seven years. It works. But generally I believe that God is going to enforce the Sabbath upon the entire planet during the millennium...it's had 6000 years hard labour ....it will get 1000 years of induced coma.
As for all God's creatures, I am convinced He loves them dearly, and has no desire to see them die or suffer needlessly. I believe it grieves Him greatly to have to see the abuse and cruelty inflicted upon His creatures which He created as a means of providence to one another, and to us. And I do not in the sense of providing food. All God's creation was established on the premise of selfless co-existence. The intrusion of death was an interloper...the predatorial habits of some abnormal and not according to the perfect will of God...including our own meat eating lifestyles being a perversion, although at times throughout history and in certain places, necessary. But meat eating has become the norm, and the idea that it is essential to health and well being a lie of the devil.

As a lifelong rural dweller in the midst of a forest I see changes all around. In spring the whippoorwills call their melancholy cry. Native Americans camped at our homesite on a ridge above a fork of the Saline River.

In the past 40 years their population has sadly decreased by some 75%.

We can sit on our porch 100 feet above the river and hear it running across the shoals. It was one of my favorite things to sit in our porch swing with my wife and listen as a male Bobwhite quail called his little family together at twilight. It is silent now and they are gone. I have a lump in my throat when I remember them.

We always had frost before October ended and but now it might be 70 degrees on Christmas. Weather has changed.

Pitiful representations of tomatoes sold in stores bear no resemblance in taste or appearance to the genuine and people don't even know it they've eaten plastic tasting ones for so long.

One thing I've noticed about those that live close to the land. They seem to be more aware of God through observing his creations. In fall we see thousands of sulphurs - yellow butterflies - winging their way south along the river valley. Hawks and other birds use rivers as their sky map south.

Children are now ignorant of the most common things. Since, God was forcefully ejected from schools children have suffered. No more can a morning scripture be read in school. There are accurate graphs showing what has happened since God was rejected.

Divorces increased exponentially, robberies the same, rape the same, murders through the roof. Adultery is the national pastime, abortions performed with no more notice than swatting a fly.

How long will God suffer these things. America will never be great again. It has turned ifs back on the one from whom greatness springs.

God placed animals here for our food. Many deny this. What says the word.

1 Timothy 4:3 KJVS
Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

One person has faith that he may eat all things, but he who is weak eats vegetables only.

Amen. Breaks ones heart to witness the sad changes that are taking place all around us...the silver lining is that it is only temporary, praise God!

A new heaven and a new earth. OK by me! Hallelujah! Amen!

Revelation 21:1-2 KJVS
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
[2] And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

So; we should eat those whales; its wasteful not to!
But Paul says: everything in moderation! So garnish your whale steaks with seaweed!

On the subject of Climate Change and associated greenie beliefs; what is soon to happen will put all that rubbish into the bin where it belongs. What the Lord will do to correct His Creation, will make all that pale into insignificance.

Had to quit eating whales the big bones get stuck in my throat.

Saw a pamphlet by a PhD that determined all life descended from seaweed. When I see stuff like that I do get a, little green around my gills... Or where they used to be.
