28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

In the verse above, Jesus taught to observe His commandments.

Jeremiah 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:

31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

After those days, the last days, the LORD will put His law in the remnant of believers heart. The LORD will by His Spirit enable Israel to keep His law and statutes. Israel, what it could not do, and never could do of itself, will keep the law and be a light to the Gentiles. They will be His people, and He will be their God.

But there's still some who argue the Mosaic covenant law is still in full force.

The new covenant is not in force now. It is future after the church's rapture.

TOTALLY FALSE.

If that is true, then you really need to study the New Testament (Covenant) and see why it is called the New Testament.

And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. (Mt 26:27,28)

Definition
  1. a disposition, arrangement, of any sort, which one wishes to be valid, the last disposition which one makes of his earthly possessions after his death, a testament or will
  2. a compact, a covenant, a testament
    1. God's covenant with Noah, etc.

testament
  1. Obs. a covenant, esp. one between God and man
  2. [T-]
    1. either of the two parts of the Christian Bible, the Old Testament and the New Testament
    2. Informal a copy of the New Testament
    1. a statement, act, etc. testifying to the fact, validity, or worth of something; testimonial: a testament to liberty
    2. an affirmation of beliefs or convictions; profession: a freethinker's testament
  3. Law a will: now rare except in the phrase last will and testament

Nowhere is this defined as the new covenant in Hebrews. That is stipulated with the houses of Israel and Judah, which we are not.

Where are the laws the Bible says will come with this new covenant that are different from the Mosaic covenant?

In the Bible a covenant is a testament and testament a covenant.

Yes there's some learning that needs to be done here, but by you, not me.

Starting with the KJV is yet again wrong:

Matthew 26:28 New International Version (NIV)
28 This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

No new in it. New was in it because Catholics believe in replacement theology. As did the writers of the TR and KJV.

As I said, read and study the New Testament first (which you obviously have not done). Why do people continue to respond without bothering to follow through that which is recommended? This indicates a refusal to really believe God and believe the Scriptures. To continue to insist that the New Covenant is NOT in force is not only arrogant, but totally misleading and a promotion of FALSE DOCTRINE!

2 CORINTHIANS 3 -- OLD COVENANT vs NEW COVENANT
1 Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you?
2 Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:

3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone [OLD COVENANT], but in fleshy tables of the heart.[NEW COVENANT]
4 And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward:[NEW COVENANT]
5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;
6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament;[NEW COVENANT] not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, [OLD COVENANT] but the spirit giveth life.[NEW COVENANT]
7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, [OLD COVENANT] was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:
8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?[NEW COVENANT]
9 For if the ministration of condemnation be glory,[OLD COVENANT] much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.[NEW COVENANT]
10 For even that which was made glorious [OLD COVENANT] had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth.[NEW COVENANT]
11 For if that which is done away was glorious,[OLD COVENANT] much more that which remaineth is glorious.[NEW COVENANT]
12 Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:[NEW COVENANT]
13 And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:[OLD COVENANT]
14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament;[OLD COVENANT] which vail is done away in Christ.[NEW COVENANT]
15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.[OLD COVENANT]
16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.[NEW COVENANT]
17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.[NEW COVENANT]
18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.[NEW COVENANT]

The fact remains the covenant Jesus talked about was then in effect. He never called it the new covenant. The new covenant in Hebrews is future tense to the houses of Israel and Judah, which we are not.

Bloviate all you want but that's the facts.

You inserting new covenant does not change that reality of what the verses say.

These are two separate covenants.

As for reading the Bible, I have read it through three times, stopping to study issues along the way.

Obviously you cannot say the same.

Now you are really revealing your ignorance about the subject, while dismissing everything that I posted from Scripture (which should have been the end of your false notions).

So here is where Jesus called it the New Covenant, which went into effect the minute He said "IT IS FINISHED".

MATTHEW 26:28
τοῦτο γάρ ἐστιν τὸ αἷμά μου τὸ τῆς καινῆς διαθήκης τὸ περὶ πολλῶν ἐκχυνόμενον εἰς ἄφεσιν ἁμαρτιῶν
King James Bible
For this is my blood of the new testament, [COVENANT] which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
Young's Literal Translation
for this is my blood of the new covenant, that for many is being poured out -- to remission of sins

The title of the New Testament is KAINE DIATHEKE (καινῆ διαθήκη)

Hay, I painted my bomb of a car and now it look like it is brand new again because of the paint job and the recently manufactured tyres that were put on to replace the worn out ones, but underneath the recently painted exterior, the car is still a bomb and it will likely break down again at any time.

Everybody wants what is new again, but for me I ALSO NEED TO RENEW/REGENERATE WHAT IS UNDER THE PAINT COVERING AS WELL AND TO TAKE THAT ONBOARD AS WELL.

Are you into replacement theolog? That is the only way you can wedge Gentiles or the Church in here.
