The more one enters into understanding (via the Spirit and His Word) the presence of the enmity God has placed between believers and unbelievers (chiefly between Christ and His, and Satan and his, which are unbelievers - Gen 3:15), the more potential there is for the tendency of loneliness, due to that fact that there will always be less of the former in comparison of the latter (Mat 7:13, 14).

Little is it realized but truly it is so, that only those who are believers are literally connected with many others, which includes the Sovereign Trinity and all who are reborn now in heaven and still on earth! Knowing and understanding this is a significant enablement against vulnerability to loneliness. Sadly though, this also means that unbelievers are not connected to any other single soul—in heaven nor on earth—which makes it a big universe in which to be alone.

God's will for us defined.
To have the " ableness" to stand alone, lacking nothing.

Thanks for the comment. It reminds me that believers are independent in their walk but together in their soul, because nobody can live (walk) out another's life. This especially includes the Lord Jesus because we are not living out His life in us, but He is living out His life in and through us; "not I but Christ lives in me" (Gal 2:20), e.g. I see this as, not I living His life in me but Christ living His life in me.

This makes believers "one" with one another and with God, via the Holy Spirit: "That they all may be one (believers together); as thou, Father, art in Me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in Us"; believers together in God (Jhn 17:21). The new life those reborn live has all of its sources from Christ's life. So its not the life of the Spirit in us but Christ's life (Col 3:4), by the power of the Spirit of Christ (Spirit of God).

Hope I didn't get too gabby!

God bless!

Hi NC.

Haven't talked with you for awhile, but have seen your still in the discussion arena. I know you stay away from confrontational discussion, and I respect that.

If you remember me, I'm all about what Faith is and how it's applied in relation to the living God. If I remember correctly, you were in the " believe and recieve" camp?

Are you still there?

I've always appreciated your comments. I like properly discussing and debating but it's the unkind one's I avoid because it undermines the purpose of all God's truths in the Word, which is which all knows is practical love to one another.

My faith is not within name and claim but in know and go, e.g. go with what you know is His Word and therefore without wonder and potential doubt. The more we understand God's Word, which is the sole source of operable truth by His Holy Spirit--the Author of God's Word--the greater we can see how that faith brings us along and not the converse, because it's the Lord Jesus who is faith's "Author" and therefore it is He who uses it in the lives of all reborn, and Who brings all believers to faith's intended "finish", Jesus also being the "Finisher" (Heb 12:2); i.e. Looking unto Jesus "with the eye of the understanding, or with the eye of faith; for faith is a seeing of the Son; it is a spiritual sight of Christ, which is at first but glimmering, afterwards it increases, and is of a soul humbling nature; it is marvelous and surprising; it transforms into the image of Christ, and fills with joy unspeakable, and full of glory" (JG).

If your willing, let's talk about how a called out one responds to the call of the Father. The very beginning of the salvation journey.

In Rom. 8:9 we are told that if we are not in Him, and He is not in us, we are none of His.

This is telling us if we don't have the Spirit of Christ, Christ isn't is not ours! I keep that thought process going by saying if Christ is not ours, then His word is not ours, and the promises in His word are not ours yet either.

We all start the salvation journey " without " the Spirit of Christ in us yet. So at this beginning stages, Christ, His word, and promises are not ours at this point.

So how can the correct response to the call of the Father be to claim Christ, His word, and His promises when they're not ours yet. Wouldn't that be a illegitimate claim?

My bigger point would be that " believing " in God's word is not the correct response to the call of the Father.

What do you think?
