Don't take this the wrong way but you are a total nutcase!! You can come to my parties anytime.
Have you only just discovered that?? :p
When I joined an Anglican church in the late 1970s, the curate told me that after three weeks I would be as mad as the rest of them. I believed him because he was a psychologist with the Ministry of Justice before he became a minister. And he was right! I did become as mad as the rest of them and it has never left me.

I got banned from ChristianForums.com because they couldn't take my sense of humour. I got seriously warned about my response to Pope Francis considering abolishing celibacy for priests by saying that if he did, most of the male and female prostitutes in the Vatican would be out of work! :D:D It was a joke but someone on the Catholic forum didn't see it that way.

Someone on one of these threads didn't get my joke about the pope looking down on the unemployed when he has his shower in the morning. He thought I was talking about him washing his feet! :p:p:p:p

To anyone who might be offended, know that these are jokes! I make fun of Catholics, Mormons, JWs, evolutionists, atheists, etc. They are all fair game to me.

By the way, when my grandfather got old, he couldn't do the things he did when he was young - like bomb the Japanese!

How many Mormons does it take to change a light bulb? One, but he has to find the golden plates to find out how.

It would only take one atheist to change a light bulb but he would have great trouble believing the instructions about how to change it.

Every Satanic Catholic priest forces the evil flesh and blood lie on young children and it seems many cannot overcome the brainwashing the rest of their lives.

My daughter who was studying psychology at the time, told me that if something is drummed into a child during their childhood, it is almost impossible to get them to believe anything different.

I got the New Zealand version of brain washing once. I got my gumboots full of water! :D

Catholics claiming flesh and blood
If you go to confess your sins to a paedophile priest, he might end up confessing his sins to you!!!
I'm just reading ANOTHER account by a woman who as a child thought it would be so romantic to become a nun. The horrors of the punishments and rape by pedophile priests quickly made her realise she had made a big mistake.
Here in UK the police and Gov't is actively concealing and facilitating pedophile Muslims gangs raping and murdering young English schoolgirls and just one or two journalists are trying to get teh scandal aired while most just turna blind eyes as they realise the Muslims have police protection.
I wonder if a raid on a convent might turn up even greater scandals of pedophilia, priest's baby smothering etc?

There are some areas we don't want to get too close to, because we never know what might jump out at us!

Amazing. I got banned from Christian Forums because as I said I am an Aussie and we are totally irreligious. We don't mock people we just have a joke at their expense.

Oh no, we mustn't joke about things and people, therefore, you are banned.

Keep up the good work???

I don't think that those in the U.S. understand the ANZAC sense of humour. We may not be super religious because we have a more down to earth view of the silly aspects of religion that exists in parts of the U.S. Also, Catholicism, Mormonism, and Islam are not as dominant in our countries as they are in parts of the U.K. and the U.S.

I have a friend who was banned from Facebook at the same time as the terror attack on two Christchurch mosques because of the fun he poked at Muslims previously before the attacks. That spooked him to the degree that when he was coming home from Auckland to Christchurch he was afraid that the police might have stopped him at the airport and interrogated him. But in reality, that weekend, they were keeping a close watch on people leaving Christchurch, especially those who looked like they could be white supremacists.

Because I was just leaving a Charismatic church to join an Anglican church in the late 1970s, one of the curate's remarks was that he compared speaking in tongues to farting. He told me later that he wanted to see the hairs on the back of my neck rising up, which they didn't! Just think if anyone made a remark like that in a U.S. Pentecostal church. They would be tarred and feathered and run right out of town! :p:p

It's not just Catholics who have priests. They have them in every denomination. Some are called vicars, bishops, deans; then you have ministers etc. all of whom belong to a hierarchy of clergy that is nowhere to be found in the bible. When we ask forgiveness we don't need to do it through a clergyman as we have direct access to God who is the only one who can forgive us. When we have something that needs prayer - which is often - we don't need a clergyman to bring our problem before God - we can do it ourselves but it is good to know that we have prayer support. When we partake of bread and wine we don't need ordained clergy to minister them to us we can take turns doing the honours. Same with baptism, we don't need any kind of priest as we are able to perform this joyous task ourselves. If the Holy Spirit is being followed in your fellowship of believers then we don't clergy to perform rituals because we ourselves are a royal priesthood.

Note: not all groups that have priests (by whatever name) see those priests as the middle-man between a person and God, or believe that a person can't work with God themselves 1-on-1.

Maybe, but such a lot do and wouldn't consider it holy to be given the bread and wine by a member of the church instead of an ordained minister. Men and women shouldn't be in charge of the church. That's the province of the Holy Spirit. Men have taken over and made their own rules and I believe that unless the Holy Spirit is in control of a fellowship/church then they may as well pack up and go home.

Holy Spirit is the individual conscience and the gifts of wisdom, knowledge etc that believers have and it is to be expected that a good Christian believer will follow procedures in giving bread and wine that are acceptable to GOD.
Any Catholic or Anglican who offers the bread and wine to the sun-god Baal obviously lacks holy spirit.

There are those, churches, but others are different too.

Using mine for example: >99% of the men are ordained priest, serving in different roles. Everyone is unpaid, and roles change with time. There's structure, but one role is not "better" than another: you can be in charge of organizing a congregation of 300 people, and then the next day be in the Assistant Nursery Teacher. Likewise with the ladies. God Himself is ultimately in charge, people just helping out in a somewhat organized fashion.

all those ordained priest would say no-one goes to heaven if you ask them?
Was that in response to any one in particular?

If it was to me: that's not their job, it's Christ's job. A servant is there to help people along their walk with Him, not to replace Him.

Please explain what you mean by "a good Christian believer". I would describe myself as such and have given bread and wine to the fellowship more than once and also I got to baptise a new Christian lady. I prefer to be part of the Church that follows Jesus rather than the church that follows man made traditions and rituals.
