I would tend to agree that we should suspect that to be the case... Boy! That was "wordy" wasn't it? Let me explain:. We don't know how much time either spends in the Bible. But I suspect, not much... I don't know how much time Jimmy Carter spent reading the Bible, but I suspect more than any other in the last 100 years. Lousy President, but I always thought he was descent and honest..

I've read long, detailed bios of the first three Presidents, as well as Grant. I don't think that Washington or Grant read regularly to any great length. Adams and Jefferson did. I haven't read John Quincy Adams' bio yet, but I suspect he did. There was another President who made it a practice to fully read the Bible every year. Can't remember who, but he was after the Grant administration.

I don't have a conclusion to make other than the Presidents (and politicians in general) never seem to come off as spiritual leaders.

1. Trump had no business hanging on to Redfield, Fauci, Birx, etc. when their COVID fraud had been exposed. They all should have been fired in mid-March. And actually he should have cleaned house back in 2017.

That simply weakened his presidential authority, when he has the Oval Office to address the world. He is not obligated to hold press briefings at all, after the press has declared war on Trump.

3. He had no business going after Joe Scarborough (who is totally stupid in any event, and not worth wasting time over). 99% of media people hate him, so he might as well ignore them.

4. He had no business hiring his enemies and then firing them (e.g. Mad Dog Mattis, who just got through trashing Trump publicly). Every general he has hired had to be eventually fired. Not to mention all the inspector generals who should have been sent packing long ago and were kept on to undermine him.

5. And now his Secretary of Defense Esper is defying him.

Specifically, I believe that the government has no right to tell a woman (or a man) what decisions s/he should make regarding their health care. My wife was a certified Nurse-Midwife for many years and experienced many fetal anomalies which, if the pregnancy was not terminated, would have killed the mother. And if she had other children, what then?
