Professor Peter Ridd is a marine physicist who worked for James Cook University in Townsville.

In 2018 he criticized the research being done by his colleagues on the impacts of climate change on the Great Barrier Reef. For his dissenting opinion against the climate change doctrine he was sacked.

And so he took the matter to court and won only for the university to win the appeal.

So now Dr Ridd is going to the highest court in Australia, The High Court.
This is a huge case that im following intently.
A loss for Dr Ridd will be a loss for free speech in this country and a win for communist style cancel culture

Most scientists have a job. They work in their fields of endeavor, yet there are few things they can do in relationship to what they do that will bring them extra cash. In the past 30 years, the U.S. Government has given cash grants to "find" evidence of Global Warming/Climate Change. There are no grants to "not" find Climate Change! If you are given a grant to research, and you do not confirm Climate Change... it is unlikely that you will ever be offered another grant.

This is what passes for "overwhelming scientific consensus."

The same thing has been happening in the U.S. concerning evolution. Some professors have lost their positions for simply mentioning the concept of Intelligent Design.... The shoe is on the other foot. Evolutionists used to cry for tolerance of their view. Now, some of them are the most intolerant human beings on face of the earth.

And thanks for posting that doco i'll be sure to watch it... I love that interview ben did with Dawkins where he got him to admit that they don't know anything and that intelligent design is possible

As i studied engineering at uni i assumed that the theory of evolution was as certain as the theory of motion physics. It was in learning of the speculative methods used by them and the anti-religious tones that i rejected ToE and began to contemplate weather God could actually exist.

A friend of mine that was studying biology told me that you cannot present an explanation, assignment or paper that does not adhere to the Darwin doctrine, if you do so you will fail. This is not science and is why Karl Popper rejected the theory as pseudoscience
