Duh, the people you mention are all born again Christians with New "hearts". The scriptures never contradict themselves and the only apparent errors are copy errors (they were copied by hand and some hebrew characters differ from each other by a single pen stroke.) The scribes took great care in accuracy and discarded scrolls with more than a few copy errors. As the Jews held scripture in much higher esteem than we typically do, they didn't throw out or destroy bad copies, but stored them away in clay pots. That's how we have the Dead Sea scrolls, some of which date back to just after the Babylonian captivity and were written partly in Hebrew and partly in Aramaic.Actually, scripture declares that Barnabas was a good man (Acts of the Apostles 11:22-24) and in Romans 15:14 the apostle tells the Roman believers that they are full of goodness. We are also told by Jesus in Luke 8:15 that the good soil is composed of an honest and good heart.
This is not because we are good in and of ourselves, or of our own strength; but because the fruit of the Spirit is, among other things, goodness (Galatians 5:22-23).
So then, it is not my goodness that manifests itself in me but the goodness of the Lord.
@michaelvpardo The new heart comes at the new birth (John 3).Duh, the people you mention are all born again Christians with New "hearts". I just didn't see any direct connection. The responses to posts typically include the post that you're responding to above the response so unless you're trolling under the screen name jaybird, no.
Actually Jesus said that he came to fulfill the law and the Apostle Paul wrote at least two epistles explaining why real Christians are not under the law. Why don't you read and believe the bible ? Do you hate God that much? I'm not a teacher or an apologist though I have taught a little in one of my churches. God taught me after I believed Him just as scripture promises. Pull your head out of your dogma, stop hating the saints, and join us. The only thing you are commanded to believe is the gospel and when you really do you will receive God in the person of the Holy Spirit and God Himself will teach you. It's that simple, yet it remains impossible for men. It might not make sense to you, but that's only because of the carnality of your mind. If Pope John Paul could take my advice to heart, I think it's safe for you.the problem is if we follow what your teaching, its no different than what crowley taaught. thats the big conundrum you grace only people dont have a solution for. you think Jesus came to abolish the law, crowley believed Lucifer came to abolish the law, either way the law gets abolished therefore the end result is the same in both.
Jesus said He did not come to abolish the law, He also said do not teach against the law. this is how these teachings (YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO ANYTHING TO BE BORN AGAIN)get so backwards from Jesus and line up with alister crowley because they are the opposite of Jesus.
It's okay, but I never hammer people that profess belief in Jesus Christ and the resurrection, I'm actually forbidden from doing that. Unfortunately it seems a little like some folks on this site are believing in anoher Jesus that lies, confuses, and is nothing like His Father, but false doctrine presented as dogma will do that.I just didn't see any direct connection.
That's what I said. Are you looking for another birth?@michaelvpardo The new heart comes at the new birth (John 3).
Kinda think the trinity is rather simple to comprehend if you can accept Einstein's physics. God the Father is eternal Spirit and the Father of all spirits, existing outside of time, a physical part of creation, Jesus, the Son of God, is the eternal Son of God being a tabernacle of sorts for the Father according to scripture and really the only way we could've interacted with the infinite in His creation other than the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit is the eternal Spirit acting in His creation, but invisibly and undetectable except by His choice. Of course that definition is dependent on Albert Einstein's math which equates time with a physical dimension and consequently part of creation. In other words God exists as the Father outside of time while His person is expressed in time by His Son and the Holy Spirit. It's a way better explanation than being like a three leaf clover, but essentially the same thing. The nature of the Godhead is a mystery. Any attempt to explain it to our mortal minds will come short and leave us with a sense of dissatifaction. We know that there is a Father, a Son and a Holy Spirit. That is a given, because they are clearly delineated in Scripture. How they are connected together to make one God cannot be clearly explained. So, I don't try to enter into debates about the form and nature of the Godhead. Even when we get to glory, we might never really know because the only Person we will see in heaven will be Jesus.
But I have some doubts with Oneness Pentecostalism or any church that preaches "Jesus only". I can't say that they are genuinely born again, and then I cannot say that they are not. God has to be judge of these people and not me. I have viewed Oneness preaches preach a very powerful and true gospel, and I am sure that souls are saved because of that preaching. So I am trending toward the view that Oneness theology might not necessarily be fatal to someone's salvation. After all, aren't we all growing in grace and in the knowledge of God?
@michaelvpardo Yes, you did; I guess I was supplying the reference...That's what I said. Are you looking for another birth?
Ok, thanks. I'm trying to resurrect the spiritually dead, but it's not really in my power to do so. I've just been doing some goading to an almost saint, to try and break through the blinders, but I've found nothing more difficult than overcoming self righteousness. Jesus was hated and condemned by the high priest of His sojourn on the planet and most of His condemning statements were about the hypocrisy (and effectively the self righteousness)of the Jewish leaders of the Sanhedrin.@michaelvpardo Yes, you did; I guess I was supplying the reference...
Actually, the Jewish people held the word of God in such high esteem that if they made a mistake in the copying process, they would burn the copy.Duh, the people you mention are all born again Christians with New "hearts". Congratulations. You've unlocked the mysteries of the infinite Godhead, something scholars, lawyers, Kings, and even angels have failed to do in the last 6000 years. It actually can be explained...I have written a six post statement on the subject (read posts #1-#6 of the following thread):.
The problem is you guys think fulfill means abolish which has Jesus saying " I did not come to abolish but I came to abolish" and you guys know Jesus does not make nonsense statements like that.Actually Jesus said that he came to fulfill the law and the Apostle Paul wrote at least two epistles explaining why real Christians are not under the law. Read Galatians and Hebrews sometime and get back with us since they say its obsolete since the New Covenant is in place. The problem is you guys think fulfill means abolish which has Jesus saying " I did not come to abolish but I came to abolish" and you guys know Jesus does not make nonsense statements like that.
We call this religion as you go.
Live like a Jew? You mean like Jesus? He was a Jew that lived by the law, but according to you guys that example is wrong.Read Galatians and Hebrews sometime and get back with us since they say its obsolete since the New Covenant is in place.
Live like a Jew under the Law that is your choice but whom the Son sets free is free indeed. Go ahead and live in bondage to the law since it is your master.
hope this helps !!!

The Trinity or Godhead is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are the One God and They are not each other. The Son is not the Father, the Father is not the Son and the Holy Spirit is not the Father or the Son. They are Eternal and Co-Equal and share all the same Divine Attributes as God.
That is the Trinity in a nutshell. Its about as concise as one can make the Godhead.
hope this helps !!!
