Hello Everyone,
New to the discussion boards. I'm looking to learn more and bring back my faith. :)

Hello Jennifer. Welcome!

When Jesus spoke about removing that which causes you to sin, He mentioned hands and eyes . . . but Christ, in True form of keeping His Gospel a Mystery, did not mention the cutting away of our hearts, thus lifting it to the Lord.

And that is what you must do. Lift your Heart to Jesus so that He would Purify your stony heart, and return to you a Heart of tender flesh. This is what it means to receive the Circumcision of Christ; the Holy Operation of God . . . an Operation made without human hands.

What are we really talking about? The removal of the Sinful Nature; the removal of the Curse of Adam and Eve. Until this Holy Work is done, no one can be saved.

Lamentations 3:41 HNV - "Let us lift up our heart with our hands to God in the heavens."

It is when we surrender our Hearts to Christ that we will undergo the Work of Christ, and that Work is as follows:

Colossians 2:9-15 NLT - "For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. 10 So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority. 11 When you came to Christ, you were "circumcised," but not by a physical procedure. Christ performed a spiritual circumcision--the cutting away of your sinful nature. 12 For you were buried with Christ when you were baptized. And with him you were raised to new life because you trusted the mighty power of God, who raised Christ from the dead. 13 You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. 14 He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. 15 In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross."

This is the only way to "bring back your Faith!"

You are being pulled in by the Spirit of God. But make sure that this Seed that is being granted to you, does not fall upon a Rocky Path. And what is that Rocky Path? Is the the Path of a Stony Heart. To conclude that your Heart is not Stony, you've got to Submit! :)

When the time is right . . . when God says it is time for you to receive His Grace, Compassion and Mercy, He will do the "Work." God chooses us; we don't choose him.

Exodus 33:19 NLT - 19 The LORD replied, "I will make all my goodness pass before you, and I will call out my name, Yahweh, before you. For I will show mercy to anyone I choose, and I will show compassion to anyone I choose."

When the Lord chooses you, you will know it! For with a brand new Heart and Spirit within you, you will begin a True Transformation, something that very few people have ever experienced. As said, God will do this work as described even in the Old Testament.

Ezekiel 11:19-20 NLT - "And I will give them singleness of heart and put a new spirit within them. I will take away their stony, stubborn heart and give them a tender, responsive heart, 20 so they will obey my decrees and regulations. Then they will truly be my people, and I will be their God."

We MUST understand the Work of Christ! If we don't understand what it is that Jesus actually does, how can we know if we are Truly Saved? When Christ does His Holy Work upon our hearts (reread Col 2:9-15 above), we will know it for sure. So again, you've got to ask Jesus to lift the Curse of the Sinful Nature from your Heart so that you can see clearly. The New Testament healings are all reflective healings of what takes place within a person's heart. Those physical healings are a foreshadow of what must happen to the human heart. And if you recall, only those who actually believed in Jesus were healed. Jesus only healed those who had Faith, the very Faith that He gave them. So again, it is your Heart that Jesus is after . . . nothing else. When He performs His Holy Operation upon your Heart, you will be healed . . . the lifting of the Curse of Adam and Eve.

May our Powerful, Almighty Lord show you these things . . . and reshape your Heart so that you would understand! May the Lord Grant these Blessings in the most Powerful of Ways. :)
