@VictoryinJesus In painting there is thus often the combination of underlying movement, energy and light expressed in blurriness. A possible nuanced example/exception is in the work of Jamie Wyeth, as in his brilliant portrayal of JFK, where there is a high degree of clear realism combined with a sense of unease and of the edge of rationality, as if the beginnings of blurriness express the ultimate inscrutability of the issues being pondered and yet the immense energy being expended in their pursuit. In some ways, your husband's work reminds me of Jamie Wyeth's.
