Trumpeter

From a series of figures where "Star Wars" meets "Pilgrim's Progress."

This figure was modeled by one of my custom lay figures.

@Sabertooth I do think it would be very busybodying of Fundies if they implied that art should be landscape and not portrait in scope; if portrait art is pursued, then in one way or another the human body is involved.

Now I see how this nice lady drawing reminds you of the Rapture, and allusions to the Feast of Trumpets. (Just read your comments on the other thread!)

Artists often use wooden figures to help them draw better. They are called "lay figures," but they are not much help when it comes to drawing faces, so I started making custom lay figures using 1990s' GI Joe & action figure Barbie bods & faces.

@farouk In some cases, the figures are as I bought them. In many cases, I took the heads from one body (that was useless for me) and put them on other bodies that had duplicate GI Joe or Max Steel heads. I, primarily, use one body type for the ladies, but they, too, had a limited set of original heads.
