Jeusalem

The city of Jerusalem seen from the upper city looking across the rooftops of the lower city to the southwestern corner of the Temple. The section to the left of the monumental stairs at the corner and the causeway to the far left that led to the Temple from the upper city is where the modern day "wailing wall" section of the mount's retaining walls are exposed. The upper room where Jesus and the disciples ate the last supper is located in the lower city just below the point from which this drawing is made.
