Yes for sure! I hiked up a mountain in wintering deer range and found this awesome looking rimrock. I could just envision a Mountain Lion creeping up on a big buck. I photographed this area and based my painting on it.

@Mantis There is something about the Great Outdoors that is very invigorating; and maybe it has something to do with the pure air and clear light, from an artistic point of view and the primary, elemental environment...

@Mantis This is truly marvellous artwork; are you still about to sit upright and paint on an easel in front of you (rather than have to bend forward to tattoo someone) ?

Because this is exactly the sort of work that one sees in commercial galleries.

Oh wow thanks. Yeah I haven’t painted for a good decade or more. I am going to get back into it. I think it would be easier on the body than tattooing. I have some visions in my head if some biblical stuff I want to paint.

@Mantis Anyway in general it's always a pity not to see talent being used, if it's at all feasible... I hope it works out for you, maybe sitting upright working on a vertical canvas straight in front of you.

@farouk well I tried many years ago and no one would give me the time of day. They all said they were too booked which I took as I wasn’t good enough so I quit pursuing it.
