Personal Statement of Faith
I am a child of the Risen Redeemer, The Holy One and the King of Kings. My Pastor has a favorite expression that I adhere to. My faith is about Jesus + Nothing! Of course that isn't meant to be disrespectful, but to simply imply that our salvation depends solely on the grace of Jesus and there are no works we can do to make us more or less saved. Jesus said, "My Yoke is Easy". I spend much of my time involved in a music ministry. It surely pleases our Lord when we obey Him and do good works because of his grace to us, But works will never take the place of Grace.
