both the wars in the middle east and europe are tiresome, I wish they would ALL just stop.

Oh, and now there is waiver for Russian sanctions https://time.com/article/2026/10/17/what-trump-s-waiver-of-new-russia-sanctions-means-for-ukraine/

Hope everyone there is safe!!

https://www.cnn.com/2026/10/11/politics/ukraine-us-weapons-intelligence Wow, this is kinda surprising.....I guess it is an ultimatum to Ukrainians to stop....it will make many people think the US govt is helping Russia though tbh

I think that woman Amy Barrett would make a fine leader, she is a mother a devout Christian and listens to both head and heart, she is very well educated too. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/228895462-listening-to-the-law...

Now the Saudi-Yemen war is back on....there are casualties growing on BOTH sides. it does seem messed up there ;( https://www.newarab.com/news/saudi-strike-yemens-taiz-kills-seven

Yes, he is still fairly young for a Presidential candidate. but I actually liked his memoir hillbilly elegy, I never really knew appalachia had so many drug and poverty problems as he described....

Sigh...the Houthis just captured a major strategic port....wow, this is a HUGE shocker. :( https://www.cnn.com/2026/09/10/middleeast/houthis-capture-mocha-red-sea-strait-intl

There are good and bad in every party, however, I have to admit, the Biden administration did seem pretty unpopular and horrible. Young and old Americans alike all hated him for whatever reason. I think maybe a third party might help things lol, there is this American Solidarity Party which...

I just wish whoever is President follows their heart and the Bible with all their mind and spirit.

But the war is not really changing much in Iran either.....it is 6 months and the mullahs/Khaemeni's son still rules their country day after day, still the same theocratic dictatorship who hates the USA. I don't like Tehran's regime either but if the conflict becomes too expensive over the next...

Sometimes I wonder if a third party might do some good lol, Europe and other countries have lots of them during elections....always the same two deadlocked options seems pretty lame to me again and again

Like, I know it's still 2 years or something before the next U.S. presidential election, but some people are already discussing and debating over who should be the next U.S. President. This is especially notable as back in 2016, JD Vance was actually one of the MAGA movement's fiercest critics...

If anything, he should back the pro-democracy pahlavis returning somehow, but for some reason our government isn't doing that either....which is confusing
