If you are going to argue that you must keep the commandments in order to go to Heaven, then I expect you to keep all 613 commandments that are in the Torah. That's right. There are 613, not just 10.

Uh, that passage does not identify what exactly is the treasures hid in sand, and it does not identify the sand as being in a desert. It could be sand located along a coastline. Verse 24 refers to bathing of feet in olive oil.

Folks, the book of Genesis isn't a Science text and was never intended to be a Science text. A modern-day, western, ethnocentric interpretation of Genesis 1 isn't required in order to accept the reality of the death, burial and resurrection of the Savior Messiah Jesus.

If a story wasn't put in the Bible by biblical authors, but rather was put in after the apostolic era by an unknown scribe, then what evidence do we have that the story is valid?
