If Hasan executed, terrorist group threatens to kill Americans

Hasan will be seen as a martyr especially now the live streaming aspect is getting so much attention ... and it will probably spur them to retaliate ... I think this is more likely than acting as a deterrent. Do you think that consideration should affect the decision to have a public execution?

    Public execution of a terrorist

With regard to the "general public" (the public as a whole) I agree. However, I would support the families of victims being given the option of seeing the sentence carried out.

    Public execution of a terrorist

I know you support the death penalty, and I understand your reasons. How do you feel about the execution of Hasan being live streamed? I respect the right of people, impacted by this treasonous act by a major in the US Army, to watch the sentence being carried out. My concern is how widely...

    Public execution of a terrorist

"The US says it will live stream its first firing squad execution by the military since World War II. Nidal Malik Hasan, a former army psychiatrist who shot and killed 13 people [and wounding 32] at the Fort Hood military base in 2009, was sentenced to death in 2013. The execution is set to take...

    Failed execution of female murderer

Have to disagree with you on this. I would not want that. Erika Kirk does not want that. Patrick Clancy does not want that.

    Failed execution of female murderer

In fact you are supporting the killing of more people by opposing the right of police to kill active shooters. BTW, in case you have forgotten, I am opposed to capital punishment, but I accept the necessity of law enforcement officers using lethal force in extreme circumstances.

    Failed execution of female murderer

Why are you unable to answer the question?

    Failed execution of female murderer

Hate to say this but "gonna" is not English. You said there is zero excuse for killing anyone ... I want to know if you think that applies to men in the act of gunning down innocent citizens

    Failed execution of female murderer

you said there is zero excuse for killing anyone ... that attitude would have allowed the killing of more innocent people at the Bondi massacre ... and you are ok with that?

    Failed execution of female murderer

You replied to my post by saying there is zero excuse for killing anyone ... do you realize that you are supporting the killing of even more people in the Bondi massacre? Why do you "want" to see more innocent people killed?

Who was Jesus talking to ... individuals or the government?

    Failed execution of female murderer

I agree the state has the right to execute criminals. My reservations are based on "where the death penalty is wrongly given". If there is capital punishment, it is inevitable that it will be wrongly used at times. Situations such as the Bondi massacre deserve the death penalty, and it would...

    Failed execution of female murderer

Law enforcement and capital punishment are not about killing our enemies. War is a different matter ... we do kill the enemies of our country. Paul makes a clear distinction between the role of the state, and how Christians individually interact with those around them.

    Failed execution of female murderer

I am opposed to the death penalty but you are misrepresenting what Sondring7 is saying. Nobody WANTS to kill anyone. There are situations when Christians can kill ... not because they want to but when there is no alternative in defending the innocent. There are many Christians in the military...
