    Part 1 I’m strictly non-denominational as I find this leads to traditionalism.
    Very often have I seen people put their traditions above the word of God.
    Tradition almost has a blinding affect on the minds of people, impeding the power of the Spirit to guide them through Gods word.

    Part 2 . Some of the harshest criticisms from Jesus were against the Pharisees and teachers of the law who put their traditions above the word of God. So we always have to ask ourselves and search the scriptures to see if we teach the truth or tradition.
    A
    The Holy Spirit gives the truth to those who are guided by it. Others are guided by someone other than the Holy Spirit.
    Also it may be that some passages of scripture have two or even 3 meanings imbedded into them. But if a portion of scripture does contain more that one message those messages will not be in conflict with each other.
