Thank you for your very comprehensive response. Are you familiar with any books by Dr Neil T Anderson? I am not convinced that personal sin is a reason for spiritual oppression. Sounds biblical to me. Have you read any of Dr Neil T Anderson's books?

Absolutely not. Godly pastors have the authority (God given) to warn, rebuke, remind etc of what God's word actually says, but it must always be in love and with a view to restoring. It seems that in your case the pastor went beyond both Scripture and his God given authority.

I believe in the revealed word of God, Spirit led and fed. I am not responsible for what comes out of the mouths of others bible teachers. The responsibility also lies with the hearer to compare with what a bible teacher says, and what God's word really says. I am reformed in my theology...

OK, I am a bible teacher, therefore my view is biblical, plain and simple!!
