Galatians 4:15 (NASB20)
Where then is that sense of blessing you had? For I testify about you that, if possible, you would have torn out your eyes and given them to me.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Galatians had lost something, that being the sense of blessing they had….
Paul is putting forth that because one has reverted back from walking after the Spirit to walking after the flesh, that being, not keeping to the first principles of one’s salvation, those being, the turning from self and then faith towards God, this will cause a turning from the Spirit to the flesh…
Meaning therefore, that if one has lost one’s sense of blessing before God, one has left one’s first principals…. For the gospel, as Paul puts forth, brings with it such a sense of blessing to the extent that sense of blessing is so great, one is willing to allow another to have the pre-eminence… For the gospel brings forth such a joy, that Paul puts forth this lack of joy as a touchstone that there is a deviation or a turning from it…
For the salvation of Christ brings with it an overwhelming sense of blessing, if this overwhelming sense of blessing is lacking than as scripture puts forth one has lost something or reverted back to something the gospel is not…
What the gospel is, is what the Galatians did at first, for as scripture says ‘having begun in the Spirit’… So whatever the Galatians did at first brought with it such a sense of blessing, such a sense of joy that the lack of it was a sure sign that they were not walking in it anymore… So whatever is meant by this phrase; ‘in the Spirit’, the proof that it is the correct understanding will be it will bring with it a sense of blessing to the extent that it can be seen and tasted by another… That being the joy of the Spirit testifying in the heart causing the heart to rejoice…
So what was this thing that the Galatians did at first that was so real and vital that the turning from it took away their sense of blessing….
At first the Galatians simply believed, simply trusted God that the gospel was true, that being that when Christ died on the cross they died with Him so that a new life might be grown in them…This is walking after faith which is walking after the Spirit, the proof of this being, if one will have the faith to believe this, one will have such a sense of blessing and joy that another can see it in them, that being the joy Christ causes as He is manifested in one…
This is the read of one walking after the flesh or of one walking in faith towards God, does one have the joy of their salvation?… Joy being the sure sign of looking off to Christ in all things…
Be blessed in the joy walking in the Spirit brings to one’s life…
Be blessed in the joy walking in faith brings to one’s life…
Both being one and the same, the proof being the sense of blessing it brings…Be blessed in experiencing that sense of blessing Paul speaks of…
