There is no doubt that physical man had to be created first, before Spiritual man could be. Adam came first, Jesus came second; Does that mean Jesus is in second place? May it never be. Water baptism came first, Spiritual baptism came second, does that mean Spiritual baptism is inferior. MAY IT NEVER BE!

Above all, God is first and He is spirit, then came the material creation and man was created "BELOW" that. "...and the spirit of God moved upon the waters of the deep", before the creation of man. It was the Holy Spirit "ABOVE" the physical waters below, that hovered and sanctified (baptized) the earth (Land) below it in order to separate the waters from the waters, and by the Power of the Holy Spirit, new life could be created both on the earth and in the waters; and we, by the Power of the Holy Spirit are a NEW Creation on the earth. Jesus says "go to the upper room where you will recieve POWER". Jesus reserects the dead by the POWER of the Holy Spirit.

John the Baptist asked Jesus to baptized him, and many people believe he was asking Jesus to baptize him with water. This is completely false. John spoke these words before meeting Jesus at the river Jordan. "I baptize you with water for repentance...", but HE who comes AFTER me, baptizes you WITH the Holy Spirit and Fire. In other words Jesus will baptize you with a GREATER, more POWERFUL baptism. When John recognized Jesus and the Power HE holds, so John asked Jesus for HIS baptism, because Jesus baptism was from above, but John was below that, and so was his baptism and water.

But having said that, repentance must come before Jesus baptism, not because water is first but because man sinned against God and against himself and lost his vision of who he was in Christ and lost his purpose (way) as a result of losing his dominian. Once one comes to his/her senses (Nebuchadnezzar) and realizes the Greatness and mercies of God, and repents before God for having lived in offense to Him, and askes forgiveness, then God will pour out His spirit on whosoever believeth, that he should not perish but have everlasting life, because the Spirit of God is above all. The spirit is the first and the last, the beginning and the end and from everlasting to everlasting. The material existence is not, in fact it is perishing.

I mean for God's Purpose. God wanted a Physical Creation, and man was made flesh and became a living soul first before he became a new spiritual creation on the earth. First the soulical man, then the spiritual man, second.

No the word was made flesh not man. John 1:2 He was with God in the very beginning

Man was made by God from the dust of the earth. Man was flesh and blood. After Jesus was resurrected and afterward God poured out His spirit upon all flesh, meaning MAN, then the bible says we became a NEW CREATION, spiritual with the Holy spirit indwelling us.

Right but we were talking about Jesus. He is God. The word was God and he was with God in the very beginning.

No one is a "new Creation".......until this happens.

"All who believe in Jesus, shall be saved".

"We are children of God....by FAITH..........in Christ".

Jesus said.....>"you must be BORN.......again".

Salvation is "faith based".......>"Justification by Faith"....... "Grace Through Faith"... without water baptism or works.

""But to ALL that worketh not, but BELIEVETH on Him that justifieth the ungodly, YOUR faith is counted for righteousness.""""

So....... @nedsk Post a verse, from a NT, where JESUS literally says that not all who call on the Name of Jesus, shall be saved..

and "depart from me i never knew you" is not that verse........as that is talking to Jews, before Jesus died on The Cross.
And in fact, the only people whom Jesus "does not KNOW" would be these..

John 3:36..

Volume doesn't make you right. Salvation is faith based but faith alone is useless

Matt 7:21

"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord' will enter the Kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my heavenly Father."

BOTH faith AND doing the will of his heavenly Father. It's rather straight forward. Jesus isn't saying faith isn't necessary but clearly he's trying to tell you it's not sufficient for salvation but you people just absolutely refuse to listen.

Being a MaryCult member, does not make you anything but water baptised, in most cases.

And what is the "will" of The Father" @nedsk

"Its the WILL OF GOD< that you BELIEVE on Jesus, whom God sent".

So, once again, a MC Member, proves they have no understanding of God's Salvaiton, and HOW you attain it.

See you there next time...... @nedsk

It's amazing how stubborn you people are.

Yes believe on Jesus but you don't believe Jesus when he says, Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven.

Isaiah 29:13 reminds me of you

Then the Lord said: Because this people draws near to me only with their words and honors me only with their lips while their hearts are far from me, and their reverence for me has become nothing but a human commandment that has been memorized. Rote memorization is a benchmark of protestantnism. Your mocking only proves I'm right.

It's amazing how stubborn you people are.

What amazes me is how deceived people are........like you.

Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven.

Jesus explained that its those that """"DO His Father's WILL"""... and you left that out of your post, because it proves you are a deceiver.
See, you're not clever, you're just motivated to try to deceive.

I"ll post to you again, what is the """WILL of the Father...""""

"The will of GOD, is that you BELIEVE ON JESUS....whom God sent".

So, that means that everyone who BELIEVES In JESUS, = has does "the Father's will".....and He will save them, always. @nedsk

So, @nedsk , you only posted part of the verse, to try to hide your lying.

See, Jesus explained that its those that """"DO His Father's WILL"""... and you left that out of your post, because it proves you are a deceiver.

James 2:14-27

14 What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? 15 Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? 17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

18 But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.”

Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds. 19 You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.

20 You foolish person, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless[d]? 21 Was not our father Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? 22 You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did. 23 And the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,”[e] and he was called God’s friend. 24 You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone.

25 In the same way, was not even Rahab the prostitute considered righteous for what she did when she gave lodging to the spies and sent them off in a different direction? 26 As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.

Im especially fond of

V17 in the same way, faith by itself is dead if it does not have works.

V 19 You believe that there is one God. You do well to assert that. But even the demons believe and tremble. (They believe as do you LMBO)

V22 This you can see that his(Abraham's) and his works were active together; his faith was brought to completion by works. Completion. You know what that means?

V24 no need to out that here thats part of your rote memorization class.

V26 For just as the body is dead without a spirit, so faith without works is also dead.

So basically faith is necessary it's just not sufficient. You know what sufficient means right?

"Faith" does not save you, nor does water baptism or commandment keeping.

God saves you, through your Faith in Christ..........like this..

"(Gods ) GRACE....through FAITH"..... (In Christ)........is : SALVATION

That is explained like this......>>"The WILL of God, is that you BELIEVE IN JESUS.....whom God Sent'.

A.) To BELIEVE is to have FAITH in Christ.......= "Justification BY Faith".

Our "FAITH is counted by God as (Christ's imputed) Righteousness"......and we are thereby "Justified by Faith".......not saved by it.
As Faith is not the Savior........Faith is what God requires that we give Him.........as "All who BELIEVE IN JESUS< shall be SAVED" by God.

"We are all Children of God BY Faith".

You have no clue what sufficient means do you?

For the one millionth time faith is necessary but not sufficient just like Scripture says.

(Hey Wick Stick, this is an example of what I was talking about.)

So just ignore where Scripture says faith without works is dead. Great plan buddy

You've memorized Scripture you just don't understand it. You just parrot what you've been told. You praise with your lips but your heart is far from him

You've memorized Scripture you just don't understand it.

God does not acceptsanyone works., as "all our works are as filthy rags" before God.

And water baptism, is just water.

So, its best to allow God to save you according to "All who call on the name of Jesus (by faith) shall be saved", as that is why Jesus died on The Cross.
Its so that God can offer "the Gift of Salvation" to "all who believe"... (Faith).

Paul teaches this as "Justification by Faith".. and James teaches that He'll show you his FAITH........by his Works...., as works without Faith, in place, is discipleship without Salvation......its to be RELGIOUS but Lost.

You are FINALLY catching on. You're learning. He'll show his faith by his works. Why? Because faith without works is dead. If faith was SUFFICIENT he wouldn't need to show you his faith by his works. If faith was SUFFICIENT then faith without works wouldn't be dead. You poor thing. You're so lost in rote memorization and parroting.
