It is time to defend Christianity from Christian nationalists. … Not only is Christian nationalism a bad political philosophy, it is also faulty Christian theology...”

Thank you for your post.

The term “Christian Nationalism” has no consistent definition, but depends on the agenda of the group discussing it.

Here is what it means to me: Christian nationalism focuses on promoting Christian values in all aspects of political, cultural, and social life.

The attached article (and many others like it) implies Christian Nationalism followers seek to establish Christianity as a state religion, despite the Constitution’s clear prohibition in several places.

The only people in danger from Christian Nationalism are the moral relativists and political Muslims.

Blessings.

I think we can support some of the ideas of Christian nationalism without being a Christian. What people forget is that much of the way of life we know in the west comes from Christians.

Gods way is not just because its a religious belief. It aligns with what is naturally good and in fact reality itself. Because God is the God of nature and reality.

For example the importance of a mother and father and the family unit as the bedrock for a society. This is a fundemental truism that has been lived out over and over again throughout history and not just for Christians. Studies show that being in a long term monogamous marriage has better outcomes across the board including for children.

In that way we are not promoting any religion but what has been proven to be the best for society.

Otherwise if we don't have some foundation grounded in some truths and reality then we have no foundation at all and are open to any idea all competing as though they have equal worth. When we know they don't.

If we don't and choose to go with whatever idea rises to the top due to money or connections or an agenda. Then it is in every way another kind of religious belief dressed as a ideological right or policy. Rather than something independent of any religious belief or subjective belief about how the world is. .

Right now all governments implement ideas based on a belief rather than fact or reality. How is this not the same as forcing society to follow a certain ideological belief the same as Christian nationalism.

Nationalism, = is just as like your own imunity system ! without it your dead ! open to anything like infection.

A Vampire drinks the Blood force out of one ?

If one has a Family a real Man will regard such as his responcability. like Nationalis does it's Nation, so it's foundations are set on a Path for a Healthy Future ! it's like investing wisely !

It does not mean, not helping other Nations out for their own good, like a child that has left home is given a guiding hand ? if such a one is a bad egg ? do not incorrage such ! leave it be to it's own distruction as it is on that path. do not feed evil for evil ! that's like tossing pearls befor swine, as they will only run one through as a wild beast.

Vampires are everywhere ! they are not as TV shows. but are as if consumming ones life blood ! Carnal man is drawn to such ? for they seek power over others. for they lack in themselves. it's an inferiority complex ! because they are not Saved ! for they are not truly a Man or a Woman ! for they don't know what such clearly is in fact !

For such are drunk on their pathetic stupidity !

If Christian nationalists want to go through legal channels and change the Constitution to read: Congress shall have the power to establish a state religion and prohibit all other religions, then I couldn't say anything about it. What I've seen them doing though is using deception and false narratives about US history to create a de facto Christian state without the authority to do so.

”What is a Christian? Christians can be described from many angles, but from what we have said it is clear that we can cover everything by saying: True Christians are people who acknowledge and live under the word of God. They submit themselves without reserve to the word of God written in ‘the Book of Truth’ (Dan. 10:21), believing the teaching, trusting the promises, following the commands. Their eyes are upon the God of the Bible as their Father and the Christ of the Bible as their Savior.”

(J.I. Packer, Knowing God, p. 116)

I’m a Christian.

The nations and kingdoms of the world aren’t yet the kingdom of God. They won’t be until the Messiah returns. Maranatha.

I think primarily a Christian is someone who is born again in Christ. No longer living in the flesh but by Christs spirit. Which naturally leads to doing Gods will and obeying His word. The change in heart and mind makes a Christian want to please God as opposed to disobeying.

I think this is the difference between submitting like Christ and being a worldly leader as a matter of control over ones own life and affairs. Basically individualism as opposed to what is good and right in the greater scheme of things.
