Projecting. See above moronic comment. Where you tell me to read it again. Honestly, this arrogance from you is hard to take. It’s not bad enough that you‘re pedantic and long winded, you have to be arrogant right off the bat when anyone shows “different modes of thinking” than you consider remotely legitimate.

You read again what you added after that moronic comment … What moronic testimony!...and you agree with their sentiments?
Seriously mate....the testimony that you quoted was moronic, completely devoid of any spiritual comprehension, and yet you agreed with them.....how was I stating something that was not obvious?
Our company describes who we are...”birds of a feather” ya know....

I’m sorry again that you cannot accommodate criticism, but that doesn’t mean you won’t get it from me....
We have duelled enough times for you to know how I respond to any and all questions.
I won’t tell you what you want to hear, so if that upsets you please feel free to ”ignore” me.
A little humble introspection of how this could be construed as Ad Homenim would go a long way. This part of your personality, come out arrogantly swinging makes me not want to even engage with the topic of how expressing ideas of cannibalism and homosexual marriage might not be received well.
You speak of “humility” when you display little yourself?
Expressing ideas of cannibalism and homosexual marriage and being part of a harem???? These are reasonable questions to you? You don’t see how you call God’s Sovereignty into question with those responses by agreeing with their sentiments? Those are not the questions of a disciples, but the questions of one who is chafing under things they cannot understand......is there a reason why you and they cannot understand? Or is it that you do not wish to accomodate anything but your own opinion?

Would a loving God keep you from accurate answers to those questions when you come out and directly say “Jesus failed” or that “he shouldn’t have done” something....who are you to judge the Father by judging the words and actions of his son?
Perhaps if you were a little less sensitive to criticism we may have more civil dialogue.

For all your pedantic nonsense, you fail to differentiate Ad Homenim from criticism. Bye.
Again if you cannot accomodate criticism, not recognising it from a personal attack....how is it that you cannot display humility when you accuse others of a lack of it? Where is your humility Wrangler? You always come out swinging when there is criticism of what you say.....it seems to flick a switch in you....why?

“Christian is a Christian does”.....and a genuine Christian will cop a lot of criticism because they will disagree with the majority. It doesn’t make them popular. (John 15:18-21).....

I can see that you disagree with the majority on a lot of things, and rightly so, but where you cannot agree with Scripture on some of those things, you leave yourself exposed to the critical opinions of those who are clearly “Christians” in name only, demanding that God somehow owes you all an explanation that suits yourselves.

God will not fit into anyone’s mold but his own. We either accept him on his terms, realising that we are all inferior beings who have no right to demand anything from our Maker, other than what we need to know.
He gave us life with very general instructions....do not disobey me or there will be consequences that neither of us wants to take place.

Can we not just do as we are told? Doesn’t it make sense that he had a purpose to our existence and that his ultimate goal is to get us back there? (Isa 55:11) He tells us how he is going to do that.

Forgiveness was not paid for with the atonement that was for redemption. It was justice, that Christ bore for those who would be redeemed. God is already forgiving, and wants to forgive, God cannot compromise righteous judgment, and none was, with the sacrifice in God's plan. God does not wish or intend for any in God's creation to perish, but those needing redemption should come to repentance with their faith.

First time posting. This doubles as a test and also a simple question.

Jesus died for our sins. On the third day he rose from the dead.

Our sins are now forgiven?

So what do we have for any further discussion??
We're Humans. If you haven't noticed,that means we're self-absorbed and self-serving.
Which is why we created a spirit in our image and likeness in its beginning.

There's lots to discuss because what we're led to believe isn't often given a lot of thought.

You should get born again and allow the Spirit of the Lord to direct your life and stop being self-absorbed and self-serving, don't ya think?

What did Button say that would indicate he is not a believer who is born again and needs to stop being self-absorbed and self-serving? That's an assessment of what is general in our world, it does mean we should make effort to move out from such, and it is not wrong that what we are led to believe is not often given a lot of thought. We could at least give much more thought to what we believe and how we were led to any of it.
