One Like The Son Of Man

"One like the son of man" is not the same as the son of man, but he is like the son of man.


Revelation 1:7 ESV Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.

Numbers 21:6-9 ESV Then the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people, so that many people of Israel died. Humans are no different than angels, the only difference is that humans are begotten while angels are created.


Hebrews 1:5 ESV For to which of the angels did God ever say, "You are my Son, today I have begotten you"? Or again, "I will be to him a father, and he shall be to me a son"?

Ezekiel 28:14-15 ESV You were an anointed guardian cherub. I placed you; you were on the holy mountain of God; in the midst of the stones of fire you walked. (15) You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created, till unrighteousness was found in you.

Matthew 22:30 ESV For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.


Seraphim is a grouping of angels, that's why it has a head and feet, it's like Donald Trump is the head and the mayor is the feet (for analogy purpose only). Seraphim is plural in form, seraph is singular.

It's like those who are resurrected will oppose those who are not yet resurrected, with the head as the most powerful entity.


Ezekiel 1:24 ESV And when they went, I heard the sound of their wings like the sound of many waters, like the sound of the Almighty, a sound of tumult like the sound of an army. When they stood still, they let down their wings.

I hope it clarifies the matter.

I find it interesting that the lake of fire was not mentioned in letter to the seven churches in Revelation 1, only Death and Hades were mentioned, but in context they could be the same place.

Revelation 20:10 ESV and the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the
beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Angels are also created in the image of God.

An angel's soul is connected to God's soul they form a single Entity.

throne were burning seven torches of fire, which are the seven spirits of God,

"God" in that verse is singular.

Maybe this is what John saw. It's called a Centauri, it's like the son of man, but not quite man.

Being perfect denotes being in the image of God.

I think it's not the same as Ezekiel 1:26. Like the son of man is not the same as having likeness with a human appearance.

Ezekiel 1:26 ESV And above the expanse over their heads there was the likeness of a throne, in appearance like sapphire; and seated above the likeness of a throne was a likeness with a human appearance.

Ezekiel 1:26 KJV And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.

The Lord could change His countenance to a not so human form.

It connotes God could change His countenance, the children of Jacob were just lucky. God's anger could easily get kindled.

There are bad angels and good ones.
