I, Nakul Mohan, a native of India, humbly present my testimony of faith and belief. I was born into a Hindu family and, from my earliest years, I was engaged in the traditional practice of idol worship, revering deities represented in physical form, as is common within that religious framework.

My early life was marked by deep hardship and adversity. I have no memory of my mother, and after the passing of my father, my circumstances became even more difficult. I was subjected to neglect and harsh treatment by my stepmother, who showed little compassion toward me. I was often forced to remain outside the house and had to rely on neighbors for food. These experiences caused me great emotional and physical suffering.

Eventually, I left my home and began working as a housekeeper. Although I was well educated, I had no other choice, as this work provided me with shelter and basic necessities. During this period, I continued my previous religious practices.

A significant turning point in my life came when I reconnected with a woman named Kima, whom I had known in the past. Through an unexpected conversation on Telegram, she became a source of support and care during a very difficult time in my life. She helped me when I was ill, gave me a place to stay, and introduced me to the Christian faith, as she belongs to a Baptist community.

Under her guidance, I began to learn about Jesus Christ and study the Holy Bible. At first, it was difficult for me to believe and accept these teachings. However, one verse deeply touched my heart: “Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and the door shall be opened to you.” Encouraged by these words, I prayed sincerely to Jesus Christ. What followed was an experience I can only describe as miraculous. My prayers were answered, and I was filled with peace, joy, and a sense of purpose that I had never experienced before.

Since that moment, I have continued to study the Scriptures and grow in my faith. It has now been more than two years since I began following Jesus Christ, and my life has been transformed in many ways. However, I still seek deeper understanding and guidance so that I may continue to grow in my faith and better understand the Word of God.

I humbly ask for guidance and support from those who can help me continue this spiritual journey.

Yeah it's easy for you sister because you are rich
LOL...no I am not rich. I am a senior citizen who is alone except for the Lord and a few friends.

When I was younger I loved to take the subway to get to places I needed to go. But now that I don't walk too easily, thankfully I can take a taxi to the doctor. And I can walk slowly with my cane to the dentist next door to my apartment building. And my eye doctor is one short block away so I walk slowly with my cane to go to him.

Thank you for your story Nakul. A perspective is always helpful, it gives me a flesh and blood face I can relate to.

I have found encouragement and growth in several places over the years the latest of which is a podcast in dialog form which I access on you tube. If you are interested here is the link.... rediscoveringgod.ca

What an incredible start to life you had at the hands of uncaring ones who were anything but loving and nurturing. Most of us in the West do not know the poverty and hardships suffered by those in nations such as India, which has a wide divide between the rich and the poor....or should we say, slaves and their masters?

Learning about Jesus Christ and the love he showed for humankind in his sacrifice must have been so revealing to someone who had never been shown real love in their childhood.
I humbly ask for guidance and support from those who can help me continue this spiritual journey.

What an amazing piece of artwork that is....but a what shame that it is flawed in its depiction of the risen Lord Jesus.

Jesus was not raised in the battered body with which he surrendered his life for mankind. He was tortured on the night before his murder....whipped with a flagellum, designed to tear the flesh of its victim. Jesus was a physical wreck as he stumbled to carry the execution stake on which they would hang him.

His God would never have raised him with wounds and scars of his excruciating death, as he was raised in an immortal spirit body so that he could return to his Father in heaven. Spirit bodies cannot bear the marks of fleshly wounds.

He was able to produce or materialise a physical body of flesh, in order for his disciples to see him and hear his voice, and know that he had been resurrected....but they did not often recognise him.....angels are spirit beings who had taken on human form in Bible history, in order to deliver God’s messages to His earthly servants.

Details are important and as you increase in knowledge, some things will become clearer and alter your perspective somewhat, if you are a genuine truth seeker.

“Seek and you will find”...that is Christ’s promise....but we need to “keep on seeking”....”keep on knocking” never satisfied with a little knowledge.....always seeking the whole truth.

Ask your questions and carefully evaluate the answers as they will be varied. But remember, that there is only one truth, and God will draw us to it, if we have the right heart condition. (John 6:44: 65)
