Overheard on Family Life Radio, a brief dialog:
Questioner: What if Adam and Eve had not disobeyed God (so that all born after would be fallen)? Would we still need Jesus?
Responder: Jesus came not only to redeem, but to establish his Kingdom, so yes, we would still need Jesus.

What does Hebrews 2:14 and 1 John 3:8 declare WHY Lord Jesus came in the flesh to die on the cross?
It reveals the purpose was in order to destroy the works of the devil. The devil's works of what... time though?
WHY... did God bring this 2nd world earth age with Adam and the first flesh man? In order for Christ to come in the flesh through His Blood shed on His cross defeat the works of the devil. Again, what works of the devil?
The works of the devil started WHEN?
If you understand God's parable about Lucifer in the Ezekiel 28 Chapter, where God uses the flesh "king of Tyrus" as a type for Lucifer in the old world before he rebelled, then you will note God originally... created Lucifer perfect in his ways. It was Lucifer's original job to guard God's Throne as a covering cherub. And Lucifer was there at God's Presence at His Throne, near the stones of fire (God's Altar), perfectly following God.
Then Lucifer coveted God's Throne for himself, Lucifer wanting to be God. That did not happen in the era of the man Adam. It happened long before Adam had been formed. By the time Satan was in God's Eden tempting Eve, he had already previously rebelled, and was in his role as the adversary, which is the actual meaning of the name Satan.
So no way do silly questions work, like, "what if Satan had not sinned in the beginning? and Adam and Eve had not sinned after tempted by the devil who had already fallen?"
