do i deserve the punishment i am getting for locking my claustrophobic sister in her room for 8 hours, please be honest ?

yesterday i had a row with my older sister, because she is claustrophobic and hates confined spaces , i locked her in her room, i enjoyed watching her kick and screaming to be let out,i even recorded it on my phone, i only meant for her to be locked in for an hour or 2, while anyway my friend rang up and i got distracted and went out, i forgot about my sister, my parents came home 8 hours later and found her locked in, she had missed her driving lesson and a date with her boyfriend,she even had to wee in a flower pot, my parents went mad and said i would be getting a taste of my own medicine , they said i will be spending the next 3 days locked in my room as a punishment, this saturday is my cousins 16th birthday party and my uncle is taking me and my 2 sisters to a top theme park, my parents said i cant go as i will be locked in my room as a punishment, i was REALLY REALLY looking forward to the trip i dont want to be punished, i have only been locked up for 3 hours and already i hate this punishment advice please ?

Not sure I believe this doors are locked from the inside not the outside how could she be locked in her room.Its a fire hazard I highly doubt its true.

Did this happen yesterday or in the beginning of February like you posted previously?

I'm guessing it's a psychological experiment for a class project. Very poor execution, IMO.

it sure could be a school experiment all right .
To test and see the answers given .
Many now see anything that remotely seems strict as those of the old fashoined mindset
that perhaps need some re education .
Beleive it or not , though i am not saying this is the case , there are such cases going on and will
even be done within church circles .
SOCIETY is being prepared to target with intolerance a certain mindset .
Namely one that wont budge from ABSOLUTE TRUTH and etc .
Physcology along with AI will target certain answers and flag them in whatever category etc .
We are being groomed all right . Those who cling to absolute truth will not be accepted .
UNLESS that absolute truth is what said g ovt ande society DETERMINES IS TRUTH .
oh yes the liquid truth is quickly been reshaped . INTO something so unholy but seems so loving and
even for the good of all of humanity .
And folks thought the devil was sleeping . NOPE he has been making minds ready
for the last hours crusades against any and all who would not conform to said image of its god , its love
its image . and it has used v ery powerful and greedy men
whose desire was for power and control , TO GET THE JOB DONE .

i have a baby monitor in my room so i can communicate with my parents if necessary, i use it when i need the bathroom, they then come up and let me out, my parents are always in the house plus i have 3 sisters in total so safety is not an issue, if you were my parent what could i do for you to cut my punishment i dont like it ?

All wrong actions have consequences which cannot be revoked because it does not seem fair. Your punishment is the same as your punishment of your sister. Take it on the chin and stop your whingeing. Perhaps your parents' punishment may teach you a lesson or two.

Writing essays on what you did wrong with respect to your sister will give you the time to reflect and meditate on what you actually did wrongly. It seems to me that you are still in rebellion against your parents. The possibly love you more than you yourself love yourself, which is something that you should cherish.

i dont like being locked up, i want the punishment to end why does punishment have to be so misreable ?

i live in england we have a old victrian house , all the doors have locks on them that can be locked or unlocked with a key , i didnt mean for my sister to be locked in for 8 hours i forgot about her, now its my turn i dont like being locked in its not a nice punishment why does it have to hurt so much ?

yes my parents are going to read and mark the essays, they say i must take them seruosly so i learn my lesson, why does punishment have to hurt so much ?

Your parents should give you $10,000 as a reward and then tell you that you did an excellent job. And they should say that you will definitely do better next time.

my parents say we learn from punishment, i am being punished and i HATE it, my parents say we became a better person after punishment, do i deserve it

1- So that you experience a similar pain you put your sister through
2- So that you will think twice next time before doing something like that

You will learn from it and become a better person for it hopefully. That's the idea of punishment.
And about the theme park, you have plenty of time in your life to go to many theme parks. Be patient, be greatful that your parents are disciplining you this way because they love you and want you to be a better person.

At least she didn't have to drop a deuce. That would've been humiliating. And smelly.
