In Colossians 1, Paul is also pretty bold in what he says to the church

24
I now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is lacking of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh, for His body’s sake, which is the church,
25
of which I am made a minister according to the dispensation of God, which is given to me for you, to fulfill the Word of God—
26 even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to His saints.
27 To them God would make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
28 Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus,
29
for which I also labor, striving according to His working, which worketh in me mightily.

Government officials are also God's minister to you
Romans 13
Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but from God; the powers that be are ordained by God.
2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God, and those who resist shall receive for themselves damnation.
3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? Do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same,
4 for he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid, for he beareth not the sword in vain; for he is the minister of God, an avenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
5 Therefore ye must be subject not only for wrath, but also for conscience’ sake.
6
For, for this cause pay ye tribute also, for they are God’s ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.
7
Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due, custom to whom custom, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.

And Peter said of heathen Roman emperors, often godless they were, to honor them as appointed by God
Therefore laying aside all malice and all guile, and hypocrisy and envy and all evil speaking, as newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the Word, that ye may grow thereby, if so it be that ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. Coming to Him as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed by...

11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul,
12 having your way of life honest among the Gentiles, that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
13
Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake, whether it be to the king as supreme,
14 or unto governors as unto those who are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of those who do well.
15
For so is the will of God, that with welldoing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men”
16 as free, and not using your liberty as a cloak for maliciousness, but as the servants of God.
17
Honor all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.
18 Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.
19 For this is thankworthy: if a man, because of his conscience toward God, endure grief, suffering wrongfully.
20 For what glory is it if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? But if when ye do well and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.
21 For even unto this were ye called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow His steps,
22 “who did no sin, neither was guile found in His mouth”;
23 who when He was reviled, reviled not in return; when He suffered, He threatened not, but committed Himself to Him that judgeth righteously;
24 who His own self bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness; by whose stripes ye were healed.
25 For ye were as sheep going astray, but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
