Avoiding the Media

I have read that Smith Wigglesworth, upon waking up in the morning would not let his feet touch the floor without taking communion first.

I don't like TV and listening to the news. I do like media though but choose what I want to watch. Maybe a doco or video on archeology and especially biblical stuff.

I have listened to podcasts and it becomes boring. The same old arguements that never end.

It is getting hard in todays media saturated world. We have a 1001 media outlets. People are going crazy with all the different fake news they are bombarded with. Not knowing what is truth or not. Being sucked down some rabbit hole and not finding the way out.

At the same time I think some are wanting to get away from all this and go back to nature. Even live off the grid away from all the chaos.

I think silence and peace and quite is good. I like watching videos about people living in the wilderness and getting back to the basics. Living with nature. I think everyone needs to get away but life is so crazy now people get trapped in it and it becomes robotic. Disables people and they create a virtual world that becomes reality.

I am lucky as my parents have always lived in the country. Now though I live near the city I often go and visit them and I always enjoy getting away.

I don't watch news programs. It's just propaganda that they choose to show and it depresses me. I will hear bits and pieces on the radio at work and might watch a news program once in a while but not often.

Notice how they call it "the news" as if it's the one and only gospel. Really it's only some news, the news they choose to show and talk about.

Propaganda with an agenda! Has been for many years-
and Now we can't even trust a video thanks to AI.
I listen to hymns/songs instead.

I canceled my cable tv and got rid of my television. I listen to Christian radio and hear some news updates there.
