Spiritual Gifts?

My eyes were opened by the Spirit a couple years ago, but I do not see auras around everyone, only the pastor and only when he is giving his sermon. I see either a bright white anointing around him, or a rich royal blue around Pentecostal pastors as they give their sermons. It shows whether or not the sermon was from God or plagiarized and not anointed by God. It is for the purpose of judging forth-telling prophecy.

1 Corinthians 14: 29 Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others judge. 30 But if anything is revealed to another who sits by, let the first keep silent. 31 For you can all prophesy one by one, that all may learn and all may be encouraged. 32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.

Pychic mediums can see auras around anyone and for any purpose. Satan cannot create, but he does counterfeit what is already created by God and deceive many. Find out whether or not your friends have ever played with an Ouija Board or Tarot cards before they were Christians.

These are no spiritual gifts from god.

If you wish to know the spiritual gifts god gives to His people, read corinthians and Ephesians.

I have the Spirit of Prophecy, Evangelism, Teaching, and some others.

First off, I agree with much of the above, with some nuances, a few semantic differences, and maybe, a couple of differences.

1 Corinthians 13:12a - “For now we see through a glass, darkly.”
If I may, I will start with the above scripture?
Why? I’m sure not all of my Full Gospel/Spirit Filled doctrine is perfect. And I’m sure most, if not all of you would likewise agree.
Therefore, I’d like to posit the following. This is how I learned it; this is how I’ve taught it. For the sake of space, I’ll just list them.
For your consideration:
The Gifts of The Holy Spirit, 1 Corinthians 12.

The Vocal Gifts:
Tongues.
Interpretation of tongues.
Prophecy.

The Revelation Gifts:
Discerning of spirits.
Word of Knowledge.
Word of Wisdom.

The Power Gifts:
Gifts of Healings.
Gift of Miracles.
Gift of Faith.

A couple of points, with all due respect to the other posters.
1. Unlike the ministry gifts in Romans 12, the Gifts of the HS are given to a Christian as the Spirit wills, at the time of need.
One who operates in the gift doesn’t own it, where it can be turned on or off, if you will, when a brother or sister chooses.
2. As y’all know, not all supernatural gifts are from God. However, for those participating or reading the thread that are new to Full Gospel Doctrine please take note.

Finally, since the question was asked.
The Holy Spirit had me operate in tongues, interpretation of tongues, and prophecy.
Additionally, gifts of healings, word of knowledge, and probably discerning of spirits.

If any poster would like a brief description of each gift, as I see it, without scripture references, etc. (it would turn into a long teaching), let me know.

I have all the gifts and then some. I can fly, become invisible, turn dirt into gold, speak every language--known and unknown. I'm the real deal.

While I was reading your post the other day a red flag went up. I didn’t want to mention it at the time, being a newbie, however, I decided to now. I seriously question the “Christian gift“ of aura reading described by you, vis a vis a couple of your acquaintances.
The following might be enlightening.

That would be like astral projection which is from the occult. However, Satan cannot create, therefore when you find a "gift" in the occult, know that God has already created the real. I assume that is what your flying and becoming invisible is about. Tell us where you went and what God had you do as He doesn't give gifts for our amusement.

There is another gift Satan gives which is seeing auras. In the last couple years I prayed for the real gift and was given it immediately at church. During a sermon I can see the anointing if there is one to be seen. It will be a glowing light of either white or royal blue. Only once when I visited a church did I see an evil presence around a pastor when he spoke. As soon as he started the sermon, black billowing smoke came out of the side of his head which was a backdrop for a tornado in front. I pulled the pastor aside after and told him what I saw. I'm certain he knew what it was about. I just told him that he needed to get before God and confront whatever this darkness was.

We can do that by studying the doctrines of the apostles. 1 John 4:1-3 describes the doctrines of the Gnostics, and in particular, the Nicolaitans who taught exactly what Paul spoke against in Romans 6:1 "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? 2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?"

The Nicolaitans did just that. To abound in grace they were told according to Eusebius a church historian, to rape each other's wives to abound in grace. And that SIN was only of our spirit. Sins of the flesh were okay because of grace.

Any doctrine that the apostles or Jesus made will prove its genuousness. Doctrines of man or demons contradict our New Covenant. We must test according to the Word.

All who are born again of the spirit of God have spiritual gifts, big and small (serving the purpose of God), and also some who are not born again. The caution here, is that physical miracles and gifts are only examples of spiritual miracles and gifts...and since Pentecost we have moved on to what Jesus called "greater works than these" (these physical works), which are spiritual mostly having little or nothing to do with this physical life. Jesus also taught of this difference, asking "which is greater" referring to things that represent the things of God, or God.

That is the place where we all should strive to be regarding gifts and miracles.

There are still physical gifts and miracles today, because there are those presently at that stage of learning of God, which are good...but also as the snare they have always been, which are not.

Moreover, the Word of Knowledge, Discerning of Spirits, and regular Christian discernment would unlock the truth.

Yes, read Revelation 2 and read about the church ages of Ephesus and Pergamos. They both mention the Nicolaitans. God hated their sin. But Ephesus was the church age of the first century so that is why both Paul and John dealt with their beliefs head on.

Some scholars broke up the word "Nicolaitans" and tried to make it mean "power over the laity." Don't fall for that one. Nicolas was actually one of the elders or decons mentioned in Acts and started his own cult.

You're welcome. There were other Gnostic groups, but one thing they had in common, I believe (could be wrong), is that "sin" is only of the spirit, and sins of the flesh produced grace. Read 1 John 4:1-3 again if you forgot where John spoke about them.
