I have all the gifts and then some. I can fly, become invisible, turn dirt into gold, speak every language--known and unknown. I'm the real deal.
This poster is so defensive about his lack of spiritual gifts that he feels compelled to ridicule those who possess and manifest what he lacks.

What gifts do you believe you have and if any what proof confirms them ?

That's interesting S.I.H., is there evidence that you can supply of those gifts ? eg can you load a video where in front of witnesses you turn dirt into gold ?

Yes, read Revelation 2 and read about the church ages of Ephesus and Pergamos. They both mention the Nicolaitans. God hated their sin. But Ephesus was the church age of the first century so that is why both Paul and John dealt with their beliefs head on.

Some scholars broke up the word "Nicolaitans" and tried to make it mean "power over the laity." Don't fall for that one. Nicolas was actually one of the elders or decons mentioned in Acts and started his own cult.
Well the term "Nicolaitans" DOES mean to conquer the laity. Since we know the Lord despised such exaltation it could have that meaning:

Mt 20:25-27
But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:

However, the better definition is probably the cult you spoke of (from Vincent's Greek treatise)

I also know of an evangelist named Freddy Clark, he is based in Rocky Mount, VA and has been traveling the country doing healing revivals for the last 40 years or so, he has an amazing healing gift! Everyone who he prays for is instantly and miraculously healed, everyone, 100%! If you have something wrong with you and you get to one of his meetings you WILL get healed, almost guaranteed! You don't have to tell him what is wrong with you, he already knows! He comes up to the north of the country in the summer and stays in the south for the winter. I have been to several of his tent revivals and I was miraculously healed myself!
Perhaps the brother does have a genuine healing ministry but even the apostle Paul didn't have a 100% success rate in healing:

2 Ti 4:20 Erastus abode at Corinth: but Trophimus have I left at Miletum sick.

Hi, a question- does anyone here have spiritual gifts or know anyone that has them? Several people at my church have them. I know a man named Bill that has an extremely strong gift, he sees auras around people. There are different colors and the different colors mean something different, he is able to tell you if you have anything wrong with you just by looking at you, it is right on! Another person I know named Toby has the same gift and both Bill and Toby can tell you the same thing without communicating with each other, they see the same thing. At first I was not sure if Bill's gift was from God but I now am convinced that it is, God has used him to miraculously heal me several times now.

Also my pastor has spiritual gifts, he can read your mail, there were many times when I was having a problem and he knew the cause of it, he could read my mind, God has spoken through him many many times, he has a very strong anointing.
I have my gift not for healing or see someone else mind and color of light.
But for me to talk with the Spiritual Gift.
Looks like whoever believe on Jesus Christ will not be alone.

First off, I agree with much of the above, with some nuances, a few semantic differences, and maybe, a couple of differences.

1 Corinthians 13:12a - “For now we see through a glass, darkly.”
If I may, I will start with the above scripture?
Why? I’m sure not all of my Full Gospel/Spirit Filled doctrine is perfect. And I’m sure most, if not all of you would likewise agree.
Therefore, I’d like to posit the following. This is how I learned it; this is how I’ve taught it. For the sake of space, I’ll just list them.
For your consideration:
The Gifts of The Holy Spirit, 1 Corinthians 12.

The Vocal Gifts:
Tongues.
Interpretation of tongues.
Prophecy.

The Revelation Gifts:
Discerning of spirits.
Word of Knowledge.
Word of Wisdom.

The Power Gifts:
Gifts of Healings.
Gift of Miracles.
Gift of Faith.

A couple of points, with all due respect to the other posters.
1. Unlike the ministry gifts in Romans 12, the Gifts of the HS are given to a Christian as the Spirit wills, at the time of need.
One who operates in the gift doesn’t own it, where it can be turned on or off, if you will, when a brother or sister chooses.
2. As y’all know, not all supernatural gifts are from God. However, for those participating or reading the thread that are new to Full Gospel Doctrine please take note.

Finally, since the question was asked.
The Holy Spirit had me operate in tongues, interpretation of tongues, and prophecy.
Additionally, gifts of healings, word of knowledge, and probably discerning of spirits.

If any poster would like a brief description of each gift, as I see it, without scripture references, etc. (it would turn into a long teaching), let me know.
*************The Holy Spirit had me operate in tongues, interpretation of tongues,******
If you were in a room of Australian Aboriginals who do not understand English would you be able to speak the Gospel to them in their language ?

As I said in my post, the Gifts of the Spirit, (1 Corinthians 12), are given as the Spirit wills.
Therefore, if He chooses, I would be able to speak in aborigine.
Incidentally, tongues, interpretation of tongues, and prophecy would be used mainly in a church or other public gathering for the edification of the saints.

Since you are quoting Paul he also taught that the tongues etc would cease which was confirmed when he lost his abilities.
Please link a verifiable video that demonstrates an independent person translating unknown tongues (not known earthly languages) in a Church setting today.

@seer .........before you continue to lie more here on the forum........would you first post YOUR NT verse that states that "Paul lost his ability to speak in tongues"..

Start with this verse.... by Paul

1 Corinthians 14:18, "I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than you all",

As I understand it those with the gift of prophecy are able to see representations of spiritual things around them, often in relation with people. The visual representation may still require some interpretation. It would be like in with the game pictionary, but easier due to the Holy Spirit helping to lead them to the correct interpretation of what they are seeing.

“Since you (I), are quoting Paul…”
First off, I’m quoting the Word, which became Flesh.
Browsing and posting as a new member I’ve been challenged, and also read many posts where posters choose to divide the HUMAN scribes of The Word into different factions, hence, different gospels. I intend to learn more. I’ve never heard of these “Pauline People.”
It seems, so far, that there are a lot from Australia. I’ll continue reading though; I find off the wall theology amusing.

At any rate, most cessationists hang their hat on 1Corinthians 13:8, particularly on the word ‘perfect.’
However, I have no interest in debating the point; believe what you want.
As far as digging up video evidence for you, and succumbing to your interrogation, don’t make me laugh.
Another observation, if I may? You Pauline People are high pressure types. Was this theological discipline created out of a used car lot? (Sorry, I couldn’t help myself).

If you’re really serious about tackling the cessationist slant, I recommend the following.

The Word that became Flesh taught Paul that the gifts would cease.
Pauls gift ceased
Perfect is completed Scripture

2 things that happened to me- one night years ago I was in my room at my parent's house sitting on the bed praying (I was still living with them at the time). There was a bookcase in front of me full of christian books. Suddenly one of the books started flashing red, I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that it was of God, I felt like I should read that book! Also another time I was at a local church called Life Center for the annual Firestorm convention, this was during worship. Suddenly I saw a white arura around the man standing in front of me, I also knew that this was of God guaranteed, I do not know what the white arura meant.

I would love to go to one of his meetings. Let me know if he is ever in Tennessee. Thanks.
Hi,

I remembered you had wanted me to let you know if envangelist Freddy Clark was ever in Tennessee, I haven't gotten word about Freddy but I found out that the Jesus Tent Revival was going to be in Lexington, TN June 19-21 at First Pentecostal Church. Tennessee is a big state so I am not sure if it is within driving distance but it looks spectacular, you might want to go! The Jesus Tent Revivals are put on by an organization that is having tent revivals all over the country, revival is breaking out in America in a big way! If you want to have a look at the website link is here:

Spiritual gifts were exercised quite regularly in our church pre-covid. I am hoping they return...
