Proverbs has scripture that begins such as...

8 My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:
9 For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck.
10 My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not. - Proverbs 1

1 My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;
2 So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding; - Proverbs 2

1 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:
2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.
3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. -Proverbs 3

And Solomon's sons showed no signs of wisdom after him. Bathsheba did show wisdom in helping secure Solomon's throne...

15 And Bathsheba went in unto the king into the chamber: and the king was very old; and Abishag the Shunammite ministered unto the king.
16 And Bathsheba bowed, and did obeisance unto the king. And the king said, What wouldest thou?
17 And she said unto him, My lord, thou swarest by the Lord thy God unto thine handmaid, saying, Assuredly Solomon thy son shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon my throne.
18 And now, behold, Adonijah reigneth; and now, my lord the king, thou knowest it not: - 1 Kings 1

And Bathsheba shows the wisdom of Solomon in Proverbs 31

1 The words of king Lemuel, the prophecy that his mother taught him.
2 What, my son? and what, the son of my womb? and what, the son of my vows?
3 Give not thy strength unto women, nor thy ways to that which destroyeth kings. - Proverbs 31

In which it seems the whole book of Proverbs was influenced by Bathsheba

In reading over the Book of Proverbs I sense Bathsheba was a very protective mother and a lot of this wisdom came down through her.

The Proverbs show both sides (both the fool and also the wise, etc.). Life from both sides.

God gave David Bathsheba, and Bathsheba gave David Solomon, and God gave Solomon wisdom--there is indeed a lot going on there. A word study makes for quite the string of pearls!

David = "beloved"
Bathsheba = "daughter", "seven", and "swear" or "oath"
Solomon = "peace"
