Mostly found in retroviruses. The supposition is, you could be heavily infected by a retrovirus, get a COVID-19 vaccination, and some of your cells could get insertion of spike protein DNA in some of your cells. The issue is, no one can find any evidence that it ever happens, over hundreds of millions of vaccinations.
Telomerase is a mammalian reverse transcriptase which only works with the DNA ending segments of chromosomes, and does not add genetic information. Retrotransposons are specialized reverse transcriptase that involve copying or moving genes on mammalian chromosomes. Neither of these are shown to act on mRNA vaccines.

Spike proteins cannot infect anything. They are not microbes. They do not reproduce.
Probably is, in absurdly large quantities. Salt is also toxic in large quantities. Oxygen is toxic in large quantities.

The key to toxicology is "Dose Makes the Poison." This is why no one receiving the mRNA vaccines for COVID-19 have been poisoned by spike proteins.
Research shows that spike proteins (here) remain stuck to the cell surface around the injection site and do not travel to other parts of the body via the bloodstream, they added. The 1% of the vaccine that does reach the bloodstream is destroyed by liver enzymes.
Pharmacologist Sabina Vohra-Miller (www.vohramillerfoundation.ca/) produced a Twitter infographic explaining how spike proteins from the vaccine are harmless (here).
Anna Durbin, Professor of International Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, told Reuters via email that the spike itself is not cytotoxic.
“When you are vaccinated, your cells use the mRNA (or DNA from adenovirus vector) to make spike protein in your cells. Your cells “show" your immune system the spike protein and pieces of the spike protein. The spike protein does not kill those cells, it is not cytotoxic,” Durbin explained.
Apparently, no one has been able to get an LD50 for the protein, which suggests essentially no toxicity.

My wife and I and most of my friends got vaccinated. None of them became ill. My son-in-law's parents didn't get vaccinated. Both of them died of COVID-19. That's how it works. Like seat belts. No absolute guaranty, but they save a lot of lives.

its not a normal mRNA but a modified one, the goal is to produce more spike protein with far less material it is why they used it but it was reported cells cam produce the spike protein for up to 2 months.... imagine the immune response mess it creates. below is a link explaining the modification the the covid vaccine;

You're right. This has been confirmed several times by other investigators. Reverse-transcriptase has a role in telomerase regeneration function. But that wouldn't produce functional DNA. Telomeres are just "stop" signals at the ends of chromosomes.
I need to do some more reading. In biology, every rule has an exception, including this one.

The CDC's document has been in continual revision, with the latest revision being #8 in July 2023! – a request for documentation explaining why it’s necessary to use synthetic rather than natural (alleged) mRNA in convid jabs,
– a request for documentation explaining why it’s necessary to use monkey kidney cells to (allegedly but not really) grow a “virus” that supposedly infects human lungs, etc.:
Someone kindly forwarded another FOI response from the CDC dated December 30, 2020 re the alleged 2003 “SARS-COV-1” and all “common cold coronaviruses” – the CDC has no record of any having been isolated:
