"Murder cases often are riddled with problems: mistaken eyewitnesses, bad lawyers, shoddy forensics, unreliable jailhouse informants, coerced confessions, and more."

"When DNA evidence is available, courts can block access to testing, even if it could exonerate someone"

"Case in point: Ray Krone was sentenced to death in Arizona for kidnapping and murder, even though DNA found on the victim wasn't his. The state argued against having the DNA submitted to the database since the jury convicted him even without physical evidence. A decade later, a crime lab worker ran the DNA through the database on her own, without a court order, and found the person who actually committed the crime."

You are probably familiar with the film 12 Angry Men, Jack. It depicts the problems of 'evidence' when bias or prejudice are the driving forces. Its quiet interesting.

I remember the Henry Fonda movie. It's so sad to think that many innocents spend their lives in prison away from their families. And much worse for those who are executed and innocent! The courts are a Satanic joke. It amazes me that Christians approve of executing people.

Many 'Christians' approve of executing people because they believe God does the same.

Just yesterday I saw The Wrong Man...Henry Fonda started in the true story about a man who was wrongly identified by two witnesses as a robber. His wife had a mental breakdown and was hospitalized for two years. The real robber was a lookalike for the Henry Fonda character, and was caught when trying to rob another store.

I've heard of a few cases recently where men served even forty years for a crime they didn't comitt.

Another problem is, when they execute someone they close the books so no one can find out the truth! Government is CORRUPT to the core!

Executing People is Murder!

Executing is simply putting a plan / order into effect.

Execution of a Person is killing, ceasing, ending a persons bodily life.

Homicide is a person killing the bodily life of another person.

Suicide is a person intentionally killing the bodily life of themselves.

Murder is intended killing of an known innocent persons bodily life.
(Thus a Command / Decree from God…
Thou shalt not Murder.)

The execution, plan, order, method a Person, kills another Persons bodily life is not always Murder or Wrong.

Commanding God, Gives natural bodily Life and Shall Take / Cease / End All natural bodily life.

Commanding God, Ordered men to bodily Kill other men.

Commanding Courts, Order men to bodily Kill other men.

Commanding Generals, Order men to bodily Kill men.

Individuals Command themselves, to bodily Kill other men IN defense of themselves and or household.

Glory to God,
Taken

You can only draw this conclusion when you haven't seen Jesus....or, you don't want to see him.
It was those revered by men (the Pharisees) who chose not to see Jesus, therefore they justified killing him.....using their law

"Guilty Until Proven Innocent" is a very moving film based on the story of Robert McLoughlin who was convicted of murder.
Martin Sheen plays a splendid role as the father determined to prove his son's innocence.
Still on Youtube (PG-13)

After you've seen a few of these movies & documentaries, I think it is impossible to support the death penalty.

Well, humm. I have never claimed to have seen Jesus. Have you?

Yes, by Mosaic Law, the Jews justified Jesus’ death sentence of stoning Jesus to death for blasphemy.

Yes, by Roman Law, the Romans killed Jesus, by their method of Crucifixion, and many Jews, were on board for Jesus to be killed by Crucifixion.

Your point?

If you don't get it you don't get it!
I do not expect “to GET”, “Hope FOR”, what I already HAVE!

I Already
HAVE;
*Forgiveness, From the Lord God Almighty.
*A one on one Relationship With the Lord God Almighty.
*A Saved (Restored) soul.
*A Born Again (Quickened) spirit.
*A Cleansed, Washed, Justified, Sanctified, body…

OF WHICH;
my such, soul, spirit, cleansed body…
I Can NOT See with my present natural eyesight…

THAT such Ability to SEE, my body glorified, to SEE others mens glorified bodies, to SEE the Lord Gods Glorious Body…

IS;
A pre-Planned, pre-Noticed, Spectacular Gathering / Revealing Event… simply called:
The Rapture…

OF WHICH;
I patiently WAIT, For Gods Timing; Season, Date, Hour…
TO Be Called, Gathered, Present in Attendance, To such a Glorious Spectacular Event.

Do you HOPE or ALSO expect to Be Called at the Rapture?

Glory to God,
Taken

Murder always involves killing, but killing doesn't always involve murder; there is a distinction. The difference being intent. Murder involves malice and ill will. So, I wouldn't classify lawful executions as murder. I'd call it justice. Even in the Old Testament they had a death penalty. It was meant as both a punishment and to deter others from doing the same. We couldn't have a civil society without some sort of punishment for crimes.

Our judicial system is imperfect, as any man-made system is, but it tries to discern guilt from innocence. Being as we are not omniscient, mistakes will sometimes happen. That is unavoidable. But the death penalty is only reserved for the most heinous crimes. Even then, death is not carried out instantly. It usually takes decades, at least here in the U.S. That gives them plenty of time to try and exonerate themselves if they truly are innocent. There have been cases where that has happened.

Executing someone is either sending them to Hell or executing an innocent person. Not good for those who approve!

Have you ever tried to fight the court system by yourself? Got the $$$ to pay successful lawyers?
