About a week ago, a friend was going on a trip for 5 days and asked if I could look after their kitten while they were away. I'm not really a cat person, but I reluctantly agreed. This particular kitten (looks more like a cat and not a kitten). Anyway, I already had the rundown that this kitten was not normal and had some mental health issues. (if that is actually possible). I have looked after this cat in the past, and it is quite timid and difficult to approach and not the type you can pet. The day before they were packing bags, and the cat observed them preparing to travel, then it disappeared and didn't return before they left, so they had to take the chance and leave it home, hoping that it was going to be able to take care of itself for 5 days. The cat has not been on its own, and it was always fed by this family. They do have another cat, but it is basically self-sufficient and able to hunt for itself.
So they left. Although I tried my best not to be concerned about this cat left on its own with mental health issues. I prayed for it every morning because I really was concerned for this cat, hoping that a neighbor nearby or that the other cat would bring it food in some divine way. When you run out of options, the best thing to do is pray. Anyway, the friend got home and told me that their property was covered in bits and pieces of rabbit all over their lawn; the cat was home. It looked like it had been eating well and happy. I couldn't imagine what happened during those 5 days. Did the other cat bring it food? Did it hunt for itself? We will never know.
